Amazon Affiliate eCommerce worth it?

Hello guys, I'm totally new to IM so this is my first try.
I registered as an Amazon Affiliate and I'm in the process of building my website which will be an eCommerce site.

Since I'm new and really don't want to screw up and getting banned from Amazon for stupid reasons, I'd like your valuable information on what to be careful about and also ask you a few questions.

Is it really worth to build an eCommerce site in addition of building a review site?

Do I still need to have content with the eCommerce? Should I create a blog section and write original articles? So far, I have only added just products.

I bought a premium theme called Kingdom from CodeCanyon but after some research I've seen that it's been used a lot by other Amazon Affiliates. What do you think of this theme?

What exactly should I write in the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy pages?

how u plan to get traffic ?

I was thinking of social networks. But if I want to get google traffic, I have to have original content and do SEO, right?
The thing is that I read in another thread of a person's site getting banned from Amazon because he didn't have original content.

So, what do you guys think? Can you please help me and reply?

Since no one replied and have read some other threads it seems that writing product description and articles is crucial.
The thing is, is it best to write product reviews with links or general niche articles in the blog section?

Hey Cyberdeamon, I am participation in this amazon partner program myself and it is a real struggle let me tell you this. Pretty much the only way to generate traffic is via SEO and getting on the first page on google or bing is so difficult and taxing. You will have to constantly update your affiliate page over months. Put new posts out and hope for the google crawler to come by and rate your affiliate page as valuable enough to get on the first page . You need to get onto page nr 1 because otherwise none finds you. You could place some ads on social media and so on but its really not smart to do because it will most likely cost you money and the commissions amazon pays (max 10 %) won't generate you enough income to spend money on marketing .. I still have my affiliate page but since some time Im doing totally different online marketing work. There is ways out there to make serious amounts of money with fair commissions (40-50%) but you really have to learn how to market first.

There is people who made a living with being an amazon affiliate but i promise you that there are better , easier und more fulfilling ways than doing it.
