Amazon Aff Journey - $100 Per Day

-Update

Finally found another writer that is good at writing. Crazy. I now have a whopping 2 writers who can follow a simple template in a timely matter.

Finally got my 2.0s off Fiverr and one of them is a full blown porno tumblr probably ran by a 12 year old boy at some point. I'm in a professional niche. Wonderful.

I sent a message to the seller on Fiverr and said look man. I can't deal with this, fix it. He said OK and sent me another Tumblr with an invalid email & password. Score.

If there's one thing people are good at it's being a pain in the dick. ffs

I know you said no sales yet but how about traffic ? Your pages have started getting rank ?

80 keywords in the Top 100 and around 30 of them are in top 50. Mostly long tails. Once I get this Tumblr mess sorted I'll started some small backlinking and see if it does anything.

I'm looking forward to when you make your first sale :P I just started a new thread for same goal to keep me motivated.

Quick Update -

My new writer kills it and I'm throwing so many articles at her. It's really a nice turn from the normal garbage you find on outsourcing sites.

I'm currently working on EDU Blogs and Web 2.0s. The site is about 2 months old and I think it is time for a minor SEO push.

The site is nearing completion in terms of pillar articles, but actual reviews no. I also want a blog portion of the site. Just some informative articles that interlink back to the pillars. This [I think] will make it easier for me to pass a manual check by G.

Finals are approaching in college and it's kind of stressful right now, so content creation and other work may come to a slower pace.

The last thing I'd like to mention is I've actually started a 2nd Amazon site. I'm taking what I've learned from this site and applying it there. I'm currently wire framing the site and doing KW research. This time I won't be hiring anyone to write until a solid chunk of the KW research is complete.

So pretty soon, like 2 weeks-ish there will be 2 sites in the mix for this journey.

Nice journey, keep updating, interested what the results along the way!

Floopa, How much you pay now for 100 words (for every writer of your 2 principal writers), can you tell me the rates?

Thanks and Good luck with your Journey!

I pay $0.60 USD per 100 words.

Site is now 2 months old. There's almost 50 pages on it, so not to bad. My guess is I'll get as many as 75, as little as 65.

Currently working on another pillar article, but with finals next week it's difficult to spend a lot of time on this stuff. I think I'll end up with 2 or 3 more pillar articles.

I finally got those web 2.0s, and I've already built out one. Winter break I will build all 15 and have them drip feed unique content.

I also finished up the first part of KW research for my 2nd site and have it all laid out for writers. Again, winter break will be when I start this. The site is indexed with 1 page and a random theme I picked.

The KW's dance like crazy. Kind of annoying.

Not much else, hopefully soon I start seeing some $$

Journey is still going, but having a hard time with SEO. It's not really making any sense right now and to be honest I've come to realize that unless you have good on page SEO, all other off site SEO efforts are useless. The kicker is I don't know if I have good on page SEO - ha.

Anyway if anyone wants to take a peek at my other thread feel free - http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...yword-thats-not-even-actual-article-help.html

Just finished up my pillar article on site #2. Already ranking at #78 ;)

Hawkster was kind enough to send me a KW & product he found, but didn't have the time for. Low competition and looks like a great money make. One of the more generous guys I've found on the forum since I started coming onto here daily. Really big shoutout to him. My winter break projects will be finishing site #1 & #2, and if I have time starting site #3, which will be based off his KW.

A great guide on keyword densities for on page SEO that might help a bit: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...ties-rank.html

If you're keyword stuffing like I did (not just in the article, but the entire page as a whole + partial keyword stuffing) then that should help a bit.
I just took a look at my KW density using one of the recommended tools, and it's telling me on my pillar article that my money KW is at a 3% density, when Yoast tells me it's only at a 0.8%. Looks like I'll be spending this weekend re-optimizing. Thanks for that

No worries. Yeah I think yoast only looks at the article wording, but the tools look at other stuff like alt tags, category wording, and other off-article stuff too. I had to re-optimize my whole site but i'm already noticing a few positive changes.
