Amazon Aff Journey - $100 Per Day

Spent most of my time today working on a different project. 1 more article to be drip fed tomorrow and have a writer working on 2 more reviews.

This weekend consists of more KW research, product scoping, and hiring more writers. I want 2 articles per day being drip fed.

It's a promo through Namecheap. If you know a handful of hosting companies then you can cycle through them. There's always at least one with a good promotion for cheap hosting and domain registration going on.

1. Format is Intro, pros, cons, conclusion. The review is a last push for me to get the person onto Amazon.
2. 1 product per review.
3. Google adwords for KW research. Competition analysis I use Ahref's to analyze competition, and WebWordCount.

Update -
Still working on KW research for this 1 category. It's the biggest sub niche out of the whole niche which is why it's taking me longer. Plus I want to do it right.

My only major competition in this sub niche is 1 guy who has a micro niche site with 5 pages. He's definitely done some SEO to it because he's beating out commerce sites and ranking fairly high. This is both good and bad news. Good because my site will have at least 150 pages within 4 months. Bad because he's clearly got some really strong SEO going on and me being a noob to SEO it might be difficult for me to beat him out. We'll see.

Also hired 4 more writers today which is good. Hopefully they're reliable and can churn out articles in decent time. This allows me to put the pillar articles on my 2 best writers and have the remaining 4 write the 500 word review articles.

Rest of night will be polishing up KW research and then tomorrow I'll probably start sending off assignments to writers.
 
yeah fiverr has that problem , even if the seller has a kick ass reputation you will never know how good he really is until you order from him, and in your case , he was shit lol im not surprised, fiverr is full of dumbasses that think they are PROs

I think you are trying a bit too much to save money. 14 dollars for 4 articles. They must be sh1t. Same for hosting. $10 for whole year? You shouldnt save money on that. Most of those cheap hostings have lots of downtime, they are slow, they close, they get hacked... Unless you got some great deal with reputable company...

Upwork is filled with people who have college degrees and native English speakers. The reason they charge so little is they're trying to:
1. Up their rep on the site
2. Writing as a hobby
3. Looking to make some side cash.

The articles are exactly how I want them. I only had to make minor changes to around 3 sentences out of all 4 articles. And they could've been left alone I just wanted to change it.
 
4 articles for 4 usd is not bad considering those are written by native English speakers. There are always things to correct in content but I think it's a good price. But $10 a year hosting is another story. Few months back I bought a vps for 32usd per year from Weloveservers and I have already lost the love for that. Worked nice first but then it has started getting overcrowded like hell. Had to move all my important sites to another vps.

I definitely expect having to switch hosting within 3-5 weeks. But for $21 I had the site up and ready to start building out and posting content to. To me it's bad business to over invest in the start. You never know if you have a hit on your hands until the positive $$$ results are right there in front of you.
 
Update -
Wrapped up KW research for this category. Sent off 4 products to be reviewed on Upwork. Might have to buckle down and write my own stuff because these writers are taking their sweet time.

Spent most of my free IM time today on another project.
 
Update -
Added 2 articles yesterday. 1000 words. Today I received a pillar article that is just over 2000 words. This will be my first article in which I start pointing off site SEO towards in about 2 weeks. I have 2 more reviews coming in from what seems like a really reliable writer so that's another 1000 words. So in 2 - 3 days I'll have added over 4000 words of content. The site is progressing nicely. I need to touch up the social media accounts - maybe find a way to make it so that they auto share new articles.

What I need to do next is create a home page article that's around 2000 - 3000 words. It'll be a general description of the site with Aff. links and a lot of inbound links.

I haven't made any money with the site yet. But I expect with a small SEO push I should start to see some $$ coming in over the next month. The project itself hasn't been a huge investment, so I'm not worried about the $$ just yet. I'm way more worried about not cutting corners and creating a website that generates a lot of passive income month in and month out.
 
Update -
I've added around 3 - 4000 words since last update. Around 5 -6 articles so not to bad. The site will be 1 month old tomorrow, so I'm going to very lightly start pointing web 2.0's at it.

The SEO part will be fun because that's when I should start to see money rolling in.

Added around 5 articles since last update. Got 5 or 6 off to the writers right now, one of them being a pillar article.

Went ahead and fixed the URL structures on the site. They were a mess, but I've got them fixed now. Silo should be a lot better and the way it is should ensure the juice stays flowing.

I plan on buying Web 2.0s from a Fiverr seller as recommended by BTB. I will begin a light SEO push as the site is just over a month old now. I plan making them really high quality.

I'm also in the top 100 for the targeted buyer key words which I thought was cool. 0 off site SEO, brand new domain & only normal on - page SEO. Definitely a good sign.
 
Update -
I've added 7 articles since the last update. Writers are pumping out articles - not always the greatest quality; however I do have the format of the reivew + pillar articles down, so I can get the editorial stuff done fairly quickly. And they're cheap. Things are trucking along nicely.

Today I acquired a really nice SEO tool that should help me in giving my site some SERP authority. Really excited to bring it into play in the coming weeks. For my seed keyword for pillar article #1 I'm in the top 100. And for the seed KW in pillar article #2 I was around 130 7 hours after publishing the article. So not too bad for literally 0 off site SEO.

College and stuff hasn't allowed me to spend as much time as I'd like, but that's okay. It's probably better for the site to age anyway.

I have been getting some hits lately tho which is cool. No sales, but I haven't expected any. It's slowly coming together and I'm quite happy with the site.

My top priority right now is to get the site's home page looking good. Right now it's only about 300 words and isn't anything special.
 
Update -
I'd added 7 more articles since the last update. College is hectic right now, so I can't spend as much time as I would like.

I added more content to the home page and this weekend I plan on getting up another pillar article. Hopefully the Fiverr seller that I purchased the 2.0s from comes through and I can get started on that. I really regret not buying an aged domain with some backlinks simply because I have to be really careful with off-site SEO at this point. The site is far to new to make any large pushes.

No earnings yet, but as stated before this is a long term project and I don't expect much of anything for another month or so.

I plan on using Web 2.0s (manually) EDU Blog Posts (manually) and social signals. Probably buy the signals off the marketplace. The niche is low competition, so I doubt I'll need any PBN.
