Recently did some KW research and stumbled across a niche with little competition and high paying commissions. Set off and built out a site with a catchy domain name. The site is actually modelled after another successful Amazon site I stumbled across (why re-invent the wheel?) and I used a lot of tips and tricks found here on BHW.

I'm a noob to SEO, but I understand the concept. Early on in the site's life I'm focusing heavily on good on-page SEO. The site was brand new, but I won't worry about that due to the niche's low competition level.

The site's silo, social signals are all laid out. As well I hired 2 writers to write reviews / pillar articles for me.

All costs will be in USD - Let's get into it:
4, 500 Word Articles - $14
Domain Registration, Whois Protection + Year Hosting - $21
Fiverr Logo - $5

Total Cost: $40
Total Profit: -$40

The Fiverr logo was absolute shit. I'm pissed I spent $5 on something I could've put together with a blind fold on while using my elbows. And my Photoshop skills are garbage.

I'm really happy with the quality writing my writers have done for me. I do the images, outbound links, etc on the articles. I'm fine with doing this part of the work as I enjoy it.

The goal is $100 per day. Right now with my measly 4% commission off Amazon it's a long shot. As I sell more and get higher payouts it's definitely possible.

Why not just use one of the logo designers here at BHW? For less then $20 you can get a quality design. Anyhow, good luck on your journey!
 
Good luck OP, If I where you, i won't call 4% measly. You would be surprise how quickly this adds up. And you only need to sell 7 items to get to 6%.

2) Where do you outsource your article? I am using upwork.

3) Which country is your writer.

Update -
Today I sent off a Best of article assignment to one writer (~2000 words) and 2 more products to be reviewed by another writer. All reviews are around 500 words. I look at the review article as the last final push to get people onto Amazon and my cookie on their machine.

The site is essentially built and ready to the best of my ability. It's a matter of finishing up KW research for each category and getting the articles written up. I will do KW research one category at a time.

I currently have 3 articles on the site, and 1 being drip fed tomorrow.

The articles are already indexed on G which is a good sign. I also went ahead and de-indexed the contact, privacy, ToS and Amazon Aff disclosure notice pages.

I told the Fiverr logo guy I was not happy with his logo and he refunded my money. Which I thought was nice of him. I've got $5 credit on Fiverr now.

Total Cost: $61
Total Profit: -$61

I haven't made any sales yet, but I won't worry about that until the site is some what an actual web site.

In the beginning of November the site will be 1 month old and I will start building a small amount of links to the site.

For now I will just use the default font in the header part of the site.

1. They do their own research and I'm happy with the articles they produce.
2. I use Upwork
3. I have 2 right now. England and Canada.
 
I am really looking forward to follow this journey since I also plan to do the same! Just wondering are you using wordpress and which theme? Good luck!

- Can you tell us, which format/structure of your articles when your reviews of amazon product ?
- How many product of amazon do you put in your article ? or you just reviews single of product?
- How do you do research Keyword and do analyst Keyword competition ?
