What are the best themes for adsence ? Tia
The Ad-Sense theme of MyThemeShop is an evergreen for ad websites.
https://mythemeshop.com/themes/ad-sense/
Aside from that, many full-site editing blogging themes are also optimized for ads.
how to make google pagespeed scores near 100 on WordPress
It's difficult to say without knowing the configuration of the WP website, used theme and plugins, etc.
If you want, you can PM me the URL, and I'll have a look for it for free.
It's essential to use a very lightweight theme (no Elementor Pro; try to use as few plugins as possible).
If the page speed is mandatory for you, you can always consider using NitroPack: https://nitropack.io/
I found this tool on Appsumo recently that supposedly gets you +90 on mobile and Desktop. I have bought it, but haven't tested yet so DYOR. I'm not affiliated with them: https://appsumo.com/products/berqwp/
This is indeed an excellent alternative to NitroPack.

I don't have anything to ask, I just wanted to say THANKS to another one of your successful contributions to this great community.

Thank you for everything!

Best, fastest, and most affordable WP hosting in your opinion? (Not for a beginner but surely not for an expert)

What is, in your opinion, the hosting provider that offers the best and fastest hosting at the best price tag?

A second question for you would be...What is the best setup for you in terms of building a fully functional but still beautiful and professional looking website when it comes to elements like...
  • Theme
  • Performance plugin
    • FlyingPress or WP Rocket or NitroPack?
  • SEO plugin?
    • Rank Math or Yoast or AIOSEO or SEO Framework or any other?
  • Image optimization plugin
    • Shortpixel or Imagify or Smush or any other?
  • Page builder?
    • Elementor or Divi or Bricks or anything else?
  • Any addons?
    • For Elementor or For Divi or For Bricks or Block-based theme or Anything else?
  • Security?
    • Wordfence or Sucuri or anything else?

I am looking for the best combination that offers the above and still have a fast loading website.

Thanks for your questions, @Roger Marquez.

I prefer to have complete control over the server and configuration for WordPress hosting. I have been using WordPress hosting extensively, and I have encountered some limitations.
Therefore, I recommend using a VPS and a control panel like RunCloud or WordOps. Both systems can be optimized. I often use Vultr or Digital Ocean as VPS providers.

There is no 'best' setup for WordPress, as it depends on the website's number of requests and popularity.
For example, for a primary WordPress blog with just a few visitors, hosting it on a dedicated server and object caching enabled would be overkill if you only have a handful of visitors.

But generally, this is my go-to list for WordPress plugins for high-end websites:

Caching:

Redis cache using Object Cache Pro:

https://objectcache.pro/
And make sure to use this config:

https://objectcache.pro/docs/configuration

Combined with CloudFlare Super Cache:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/
And make server-level caching enabled using LiteSpeed:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/litespeed-cache/
Disclaimer: it's essential to disable/enable certain parts of LiteSpeed and Super Cache for Cloudflare, but I will create a guide for that in a different thread.

As for a theme or page builder, do not use Elementor Pro or Visual Composer.
I would recommend choosing a theme compatible with WordPress's blocks/FSE editor.
I love to use Spectra One in combination with Spectra Pro.

Or the Rockbase theme can also be used -- I recently shared this here on BHW.

Some vital plugins I use as well on all of my WP installations:
For SEO: I use Slim SEO and Slim SEO Schema as they are lightweight and have all the features I need.

I hope this helps. :D

Sure its helping me all your WordPress expertise!
Going through all the gigantic WordPress store and themes would spend all the time a have to build a new site!
So going direct to the point from someone who knows what he is talking about its gold!

Im loving this post, got some insights on WP as a newbie! I got a question myself: i want to create a service based website that would be somewhat lightweight for better speed, but also be able to create a website that is visually pleasing / modern in terms of functionality and UI. From the research ive done so far, it seems like Bricks might be the way to go in this case ? I am also debating on using Gutenberg builders, such as Spectra or Kadence, but im not sure if they will offer me enough of customization (unless im overthinking this all). Please help :)

Hi,

I want to ask if there is a plugin for what I need.

I have an old blog with 30 posts and there are affiltiate links in all the posts. I am now creating more blog posts but with generic content and there will be no affiliate links in new posts. I want to mix the old posts with the new ones so the blog appears more natural, so that not every post is about an affiliate product.

Is there a plugin which would ramdomize (mix) my old posts and the new ones in each category?

Thanks

I would choose Gutenberg-compatible page builders. Bricks is a very nice one, and if you need a lightweight solution, you can use GeneratePress.
If you need something more visual, kindly check https://blockifywp.com/

Sure - you can use a plugin like this:

Do you have any crucial tips for someone new to WordPress website development? Anything to steer clear of or key skills to focus on for superior outcomes?

Hi. You recommended Blockify (which you also use on your site) in your recent posts, but it is not available in your vault. Could you please add it? At least clean files if not possible to be nulled. If I understand correctly, it should be a Blockify parent theme, then child theme of your choosing (Agencify, Codeify, Saasify...) and then you activate the Pro plugin to unlock additional blocks. I noticed in the free theme there are files for additional blocks, maybe it is possible to unlock them with a custom plugin.

Yeah,.. not gonna let this thread decay.

First off my oranje guy, like many said before, THANK YOU! For your generosity, patience and for sharing your knowledge.

Without you, I would not only be on my last nerve, I'd also be broke as fu#$&. Since many of the plugins didn't fulfill my needs or caused errors or what not.. the whole story without Deleted member 752298 would come close to a drama movie, that fades into a horror movie and results in an ending written by M. Night Shymalan.

So.. I need your head (in a non-s*xual way ofc) :

1. Weren't you the guy with the topic about how to change the .php for a basic plugin to go pro? I just roughly scanned ALL YOUR threads TWO TIMES (how are you able to write that much along with running Festinger? Got a clone or something and you both working in shifts?) but couldn't find it.

2. Here comes to difficult part:

I'm searching for a theme, a plugin or theme / plugin combination that realizes the following scenario:

>> Supplier "Woodchuck" visits our site which says "You need to register" and shows only the post titles, nothing else.
>> They try to register, but are unable to, without a code.
>> Supplier "Woodchuck" then gets in touch with us, which results in a 3 months contract. With this contract they get the code "12345" one of 10,000 unique codes (from source A).
>> They register and put the code "12345" in the field "invite" code.
>> They then automatically will be placed in the user role "3 months business partner".
>> After 3 months they will still be registered, but are unable to see something until they insert a new code (one of 5,000 codes from source B).

Right now I'm using Pie Register to store the codes which have a Usage limit 1. The user is assigned to a user role (like "3 months user")
The sheets are stored externally, so that's also not a problem.

The problems I'm facing right now are:

1. I need a plugin like the "switch user roles plugin for WooCommerce", but without WooCommerce. So that after "3 months" the member is set back to the default role and can't see any content despite excerpts.

2. I need a field in the dashboard or a prompt or something that lets the default user insert a new code from a source of codes (others than the ones for the registration, because it's probably the easier version) to change the role again. Of course also this time for a certain time, based on the inserted code.

Two weeks ago I thought that was basic stuff. :,D

Any idea? :D :D :D

I have a very serious problem that has been bothering me for a very long time and apparently has not been solved yet. I want to buy an adult theme from wp. The industry recommends wp-script and others, but obviously, after I purchased it, I found that their player cannot be modified and does not support external links to videos in HLS M3U8 format for playback. I think there are many video themes on the market that support external links to HLS M3U8, but there are none in adult themes. Do you know if this problem can be solved?

Honestly, I can imagine how ridiculous it is to ask this, but the issue has been driving me crazy for a while now, so I decided it would be better to ask, even if it makes me blush.
I installed the theme demonstrated here ( https://shorturl.at/QI6sN ), but I can't edit the first page with the black background and smoke; I can't find the page for change the text or even. I can't locate the elements within the page. What should I do to change the text that says 'Plumen' on the landing page (or even before the landing page....)? I now this it even under Noobish, I know...

There is not doubt, I must join the team of thankers. For your generosity, patience and for sharing your knowledge.

I hate Wordpress switch to the Gutenberg editor. I get that they're trying to go drag and drop, but it's a terrible experience of legacy users.

My questions for you Festy is what's the best editing plugin in your opinion & while we're at it, best SEO plugin?

Hey @nez88,

I just realized that I wasn't receiving notifications about this topic, so I missed your reply after my last comment. I apologize for that.

Let me know if you still need an answer, and I'll be happy to provide it.

Please note that I'm not allowed to discuss any of my services here - so I cannot comment on your first part. However, the Blockify theme is totally free to download: https://wordpress.org/themes/blockify/
They also offer several free child themes. Are you looking for the BlockifyWP Pro version? I uploaded it here on BHW a while ago.

Thanks for the comment and feedback man! I appreciate it! :D
This sounds like a task for WP Webhooks Pro - as it allows you to set up complex conditional formulas related to user levels and the core of WP.
You can extend it by using other compatible plugins that offer you a dashboard (I would suggest custom code it, as all 'dashboard plugins' are too bloated.
Eventually, you can use UIPress Pro to create a custom dashboard using the WP admin environment: https://www.uipress.co/

I hope this helps, but your case sounds like a specific user case. Let me know if you need further thoughts on this one, I'm happy to help.

I have a very serious problem that has been bothering me for a very long time and apparently has not been solved yet. I want to buy an adult theme from wp. Thanks for your question. Why don't you use a different player for this type of format? Something like: https://github.com/star2dev/Video.js-HLS-Player-for-WordPress
And maybe you need a script that automatically converts the file into a .mp4 format - so it will be compatible with the WP-Script plugins.

Honestly, I can imagine how ridiculous it is to ask this, but the issue has been driving me crazy for a while now, so I decided it would be better to ask, even if it makes me blush.

No questions are ridiculous bro :D. I'm glad you took the opportunity to ask it here.
It sounds like more people has issues with page editing:

Please try editing your PHP version and see if that solves the issue. If not, feel free to send me with temporary admin access by PM and I'll check it for free for you.

My questions for you Festy is what's the best editing plugin in your opinion & while we're at it, best SEO plugin?

Thanks for your question. Personally, I really like that WordPress integrated this in their core code. It's optimized, lightweight and not as bloated as Elementor.
So I would definitely recommend using Gutenberg along with an optimized FSE theme. For SEO plugin: Slim SEO or The SEO Framework, both free to use. :)
