I am a huge fan of Visual Composer. What puts me off, if I go for latest version (no matter how old it is), it does not have all options they introduced in their plugins for various themes. For example, in Helen Spa theme, they have some unique options, not there in a full-fledged upgrade. Recently, I was using the Osmosis theme, with an icon-line-separator option. After updating, that option is no longer there.

IMO, throw out all Speed Optimization plugins and install Seraphinite plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/seraphinite-accelerator/) instantly took my site from 68 to 96 in Pagespeed Insights evaluation.

I just used this thread to contribute my knowledge about improving WP loading speed (instead of opening another thread). Visual Composer is now old, else I would have asked how futile it would be to update to the latest version (which we are nagged to do)

What is always the first plugin you install?

Deleted member 752298 looking for a plugin (or any other way) I can easily upload/import a CSV file with all the image URL and alt text into a wordpress website and bulk update these?
