Still haven't really decided what to do. I've been listenining to a music alot just trying to get school done. I've also tried very hard to get a normal sleep pattern.

Besides St. Patty's day, I got really drunk and spent the night at this sioritys house. (My girlfriend doesn't know this). I didn't do anything bad, like cheat on her. I did see alot of boobs and half naked woman. Some good looking, some not so much. I'm gonna get fucked up with or without her. I go to literally the biggest party college in the nation. I'm not going to let it take over, but I've got to loosen up sometimes and have some fun.

I took the money that I put aside for my girlfriends college and put it towards a tutor. I don't need a tutor because I'm failing classes, but more for managing of time between leisure, work and school. With a tutor I can be very productive and very effecient.

This thread is indirectly related to internet marketing. If I couldn't pull in 100,000$ a year in income, I wouldn't be able to offer to free college, spoil her, and all that. I'm sure a few people in here have been in this similar situation.

A part of business management is the management of personal life. Usually, if you can't do one, you can't do the other, at least not to it's max potential.

Dude, take it from someone who has been through a ton of trials and tribulations in life. From girls, to drugs, to the military, to poor, to making money, I have seen most of it.

First, you are 20 years old. Take it from me, these are the best days of your life. The 4 years I spent in college where by far the most fulfilling, wonderful times in my life. The last thing you should be doing is filling your mind with this garbage. It is quite obvious that she is distancing herself from you, yet she feels a sense of responsibility towards you because you have been together for a long time. Maybe she is waiting for the another guy, maybe she is scared to be alone. Whatever it is, I can tell you it is not healthy. This is the time in your life when you should be experiencing as much as you can, not sitting around sulking about someone who is just not into you.

Second, if you are the type who likes your independence, don't join the military. Especially the marines. From the second you get off that bus and dudes start screaming in your face, you are nothing and property of the United States government. I am not saying it isn't a great experience and it didn't shape me as a person, because it did. I would just never ever do it again if I was in the same situation.

If you decide to join. Do the Chair force or Navy. Much better conditions, and you most likely won't be getting shot at.

Mate, relationships push both sides, but when problems come to light it's often the case that one person is evolving at a faster rate than the other. That would seem to be the case here, from the little you've shared. Sounds to me like you've got a strong desire to move forward in your life, be it career, military service or whatever. Part of you is trying to pull her into that and you're feeling resistance. So the best advice I can give you is when you feel resistance, don't pull back. Just let it be. Let her do her thing, you do yours. Your pulling is strengthening her resistance. But if you move forward on your own path with a clear head, the things that are meant to come with you will do do of their own accord, or they were never meant to be in the first place.

I'm so sorry you are going through what you are going through. 4 years is a long time to be in a relationship and its hurtful when you feel as though your partner is pulling away. I'm not going to tell you to leave her because I know how it feels to love someone and your heart just doesn't want to let go.

I would suggest relationship counceling, asking her if she is happy with ya'lls relationship and if not what could you do to make it better, visit a bookstore and pick up a relationship book and see if there is anything you can do better.

Women love it when you make them feel special. They love with their heart its not always about how much you have or what you can do what makes a women fall in love and stay in love with you.... Its about how you make her feel.

If you are tossing around your money and what you can do it might actually be turning her off. So just be careful with that. Try to do everything in your power to make things better and show her that she is appreciated. Please keep in mind that she also needs to show you that you're appreciated as well. Personally, I would never want my partner to join the military for fear they might not come back home so the fact she is pushing you to go simply is breaking my heart for you.

Right now, truthfully it seems like she doesn't care, but there's always a reason why when it comes to girls. For example did you say something horrible to her? Or did you do something awful? If so apologize. Sometimes an I'm sorry goes a long way. If you can get her to explain why shes acting or feel this way then you have an opportunity to ask her what can be done to make things better. Communication is key.

Once you've done all the above and everything humanly possible to make things better, I hope that things change for the better in your relationship. If not, then Its time to go after what you really want and deserve in life. It appears you want a girlfriend that lives with you and someone that shows you that she cares and truthfully thats not much to ask for and I'm sure with millions of people in the universe someone out there will be able to meet your needs.

The time to make a decision is now because you don't want to be in this same spot many years down the road. Go after what you want. If she still chooses to remain distant then its time to find someone who won't treat you like that.

Just give it your all and if your all isn't good enough then she's not the one for you.... But atleast you will know that you did the best you possibly could do if it still doesn't work then it will make it a lot less painful to move on.

p.s.- I admire the fact you want to help your country but really think about that because its war time and its dangerous out there. But just follow your heart and everything will work out the way its meant to be. If you feel deep in your heart you should go then do it but if you have any reservations PLEASE DON'T GO!!!

I agree. I did 8 years in the "Chair Force". I had a blast. It was like having a normal job. I slept in a warm bed every night, the food was good, and the bullsh*t was minimal. It will give you plenty of time to work on your IM projects.

I should have stayed in for the 20, and got in the "Check of the Month Club".

If you are planning to go do the military thing, that is definitely the way to go.

I truly hope this all works out for you. I joined when I did to get away from a relationship that was almost exactly like the one you are in. I can honestly say, it was the best thing I ever did for myself.

If u stay with her, ure gonna get screwed. Save that money that you were considering helping her out and invest. To be honest, you might have gotten lucky for her not wanting it. You would've been more pissed off if you were to pay for her shit and then her fking u.

If you love her and she doesn't love you back, best thing to do is break it off.

If you talk to her on the phone and she seems oddly accepting, she could be seeing someone else, and he's probably with her that very moment.

You can go the "Cheaters" route and spy on her with a infrared camera while hiding in the bushes, but chances are it will all be staged.

As a female myself allow me to perhaps provide a bit of insight. If she wanted to move in with you, she'd move in with you. I don't know a girl who wouldn't be over joyed if the man of her dreams asked her to move in with him. The fact that she doesn't want to raises some serious red flags about the relationship. She keeps giving you the excuses you mentioned because she doesn't want to have to tell you the real reason, she just doesn't see long term potential. IE: telling you it's a great idea to join the Marines, which will give her the perfect excuse to break it off with you if you actually do. My advice, tell her good bye and date someone who is truly excited about being your girlfriend and wants to spend as much time with you as possible.

You love her, she dosn't love you, this is the exact reason why you LOVE her so much. Its over you have to move on. I dated a girl for about 2 years and eventually the relationship got boring, so I broke it off. If its not working now, how the hell is it going to work in 5 years? Seriously you just need to pick up a girl on your own, with no help from someone else, fuck her, and you will feel amazing about yourself and won't ever look back at the trap(relationship) you were in
