Almost reached $10k on Fiverr

Congrats for this great achievement,

Congratulation and i am glad for your succes .This motivate us also to work hard and find succes

Congratulations on your success! Motivating for sure and also grateful for the tips.

Congratulatio mate.
Any tips on gig research?
Thank you! I just browse Fiverr in the niche I'm interested in (and gig reviews) and take notes of what others are offering. I try to add as much value/quality as possible with my listing.
Congratz. Its not much, but i guess you did have lots of free time.

I used to earn my 1.5k while working 2-3 days per week. I make more with direct clients.

But its great to see more people earning well on fiverr. Its true that not all look for cheap gigs. My clients pay well and dont want to have the trash from cheap indian coders.

I also did never buy reviews. It took me 2 days to get the first client (who is now working with me outside from fiverr and i banked like 3k with him already).

Do you also make most $$ from returning customers?
Thank you! You did great also. Indeed I did have some good free time.
Well of course many sellers from 3rd countries are selling for cheap with bad quality, but there are also exceptions - Indians who put in lots of work to satisfy customers.
I did about 15% from returning customers and another 10% from recommendations.
Congratulations. How long it took to reach 10k?
Thank you! About 6-7 months in total, with medium-term projects ranging from 5 days to 2 weeks, and in rare cases more than 4 weeks.

Inspired by @Negi Ji 's post about his earnings, I'm going to speak about mine. By the way do visit his thread, lots of good advice inside!

I was a long-time lurker of BHW so I have learned many things from this place: Marketing tactics, problem solving, found lots of motivation and made a few good friends.

A big Thank You for the BHW community that helped me in my journey to earn a living online.

A few key things regarding making money with Fiverr:

  1. Fiverr being a place of cheap and quick jobs (or buyers looking for the same) is a myth. You can land on projects that last one or more months and deal with respectful buyers (that may also tip extra money).
  2. Responding in time and being professional at all times, regardless of how the first messages seems to look, can go a long way in getting unexpected opportunities.
  3. Keeping your clients updated daily is something that will keep them assured they're in good hands, even if your progress isn't going too well at some point, just send a quick message you're working at it (and then do your best to complete it).
  4. There's a lot of opportunities inside, if you take the time to spy/research what others are doing, their gig details, reviews received/given.
  5. I was having pretty much zero knowledge in the niche when I started, but I did two things: First, having the initiative to post the gig (and not trying to perfect the offer while keeping in a vicious loop of never posting it), and second, started to get implied and learn about it so I can deliver my best on it.
I won't specify my niche, but I will try to respond about anything else regarding Fiverr.
Congratulations brother,

In How many months did you achieve this?

Yeah, thats also the great thing about freelancing. I earn half of a usual salary, but i have more free time.

I can use the free time for direct clients and/or build own stuff. After half a year i think i wont need to work for others...

Tho i was pretty lucky. My first Month on fiverr was a huge success with 1500$ in my pocket...

Congratulations brother, keep it up

Really happy to see your success. Do you open service in another frelance website?

Congratulations, it is very inspiring. You can scale it up now.
