Hopefully somebody can pass along some encouragement and guidance here.
I built an Adsense site almost a month ago (28 days). I just started really trying to push it in the last few weeks. So far, here's what I've done.
1. Built a Squidoo page with 3 backlinks and pinged it.
2. Added approximately 15 links on "do-follow" blogs
3. set-up a campaign in Linkjuicer
4. bookmarked the site on social bookmarking sites
5. added links from two other hosted blog sites
6. set-up an RSS feed to the other blogs and the Squidoo page
7. Submitted an article to GoArticles with the backlink.
Results: when I started Market Samurai listed the site at 460 with no backlinks. Today, according to Market Samurai I'm not in the top 1000 and no backlinks. Other backlink services show 1 backlink.
If I search the url it shows up--along with the url in some of the do-follow blogs but I don't seem to be getting any love.
The site is totally legit with good content that I wrote. Google shows a page count of 50...but NADA.
Any ideas would be HUGELY appreciated. I can see how newbies can become frustrated with the whole process.
Thanks,
Chuck
I'm totally frustrated. The site has actual content that I wrote and
