I created 3 instagram accounts and they immediately required phone verification, these are the steps I took.

1) Used a private (user/pass required) proxy for my network and registered on instagram via bluestacks.
2) Used a gmail email account, also made under the proxy
3) Updated my bio, website, etc. via instagram.com (under proxy)
4) Added the account to followliker with the proxy
5) Started followliker and the account authentication error requiring phone verification

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The one account I have without proxy works perfectly fine, never asked for verification.

I don't think you can resister an account under bluestacks, because you put your proxy in your browser.. not bluestacks? So your proxy is working for your browser, not bluestacks if you get me.

I'm using a mac, so I put my proxy under my network settings. Wouldn't that apply to bluestacks?

Theoretically, yes, you are correct. By properly setting a proxy at in your network settings (independent of your operating system), you are connecting to the internet via that proxy instead of your ISP. That in turn sends all your network traffic from applications to and from that IP address instead of your ISP assigned address. But you must set it up at a layer lower than your applications like you did or else your applications wont proxy out (or only the one its assigned to like a browser will.)

Unfortunately, I don't know much about bluestacks or the PVA process. Just thought I'd chime in to the networking topic. Good luck!

You should have used 3 different proxies to create account and for updating the bios
Creating 3 accounts at a time and changing all setting make the account suspicious

Hmm...that's a good point. I don't know enough about bluestacks either. I'll go check into it, as from just reading BHW it *shouldn't* ask me for phone verification if everything done on that account is done on the same proxy.

This might be a silly question but... when hit by phone verification, why not just buy a prepaid sim and verify?

That would require a lot of prepaid sim cards...I was testing the waters with only 3 bot accounts but plan on scaling up rapidly.

OP - You can use your phone # to verify these accounts.. from my experience I've used 1 phone number to create over 100 accounts with no problem.

I did a google search on force bluestacks to use proxy and found some resources, ideas. Please post back when you find what works. I am still trying to figure out they system.

100 accts on same phone no. seems a bit unsafe. If they want, can track all connected accounts via same phone number.

Do you have a good resource for low cost sim cards to use with existing android phone?

Simple, if you have a phone use Burner or Textplus and get a fake number
or go on a temporary phone site

Apparently they've caught up to that already so those shared numbers don't work. If anyone has any idea please share! :(
