I'm posting this here as opposed to in the lounge because I've been utilizing this concept the last two weeks and it has me diving into new business ventures and really pushing myself to make action based/money making decisions. In simpler words, it's helping me make money.

There's a book called "Unbroken" about a man named Louis Zamperini. Dude's in the air force during World War 2 and crashes his plane in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. He and two other people survive the crash, end up building a raft out of the wreckage, and scrape together nine snack bars. They all agree to ration the bars until help arrives

As Louis and his buddy slept, the third man decided to eat all of the bars on the first night. After nine days of no food or water it rained and Louis was able to collect enough water to survive

He then fought off hundreds of sharks that had been following his group for several days

Then Japanese fighter pilots found them and shot at them. Louis learned during air force training that machine gun bullets can't kill you if you're three feet under water, so my man dove down under the water into the sharks. Holding his breath, re-surfacing to get air, diving down again, all whilst fighting off sharks and getting shot multiple times by machine gun bullets being fired from thousands of miles in the sky

    He survived

Then he fought off a Great white shark

Until finally, he was picked up by Japanese ships and sent to a POW camp for two years where he was tortured before finally escaping and living out an amazing, well earned life.

Now, my question to you is this: If Louis was able to do that, what's your excuse for not making money online?

It would take one hell of a person to survive that, the "moral" of the story is to never give up.

Agreed. Makes you realize that something like reading an entire thread from front to back whilst taking notes, creating a plan based off those notes, and then implementing that plan is easy

    P.S.:
I've downloaded the book... 678 pages! WOW, going to take me ages to read it! lol

    P.P.S.:
Interesting... but did he also made some money online? (Haven't began reading the book, so I wouldn't know if he actually did or not... [IMG])

P.P.P.S: An example for an excuse ;):

    • My father went through his schooling and college successfully AND without any help from the Google search engine. lol
    • He made a lot of money in his life, and he also took good care of his family.
    • He was considered as a very successful human being in life by everyone who knew him :).
    • BUT he never made any money online, so.....

LMAO. I'm going to guess that your dad wasn't a member here at blackhatworld trying to learn how to make money online.

Love your quotes and sense of humor though

One of the best non fiction books I have read in the past 5 years (the movie did not do it or him justice).

There are a lot of variables as to why some people succeed and others don't.
There are people who tend to be more DRIVEN than others; more motivated,
more focused, more HUNGRY. Also, what one thinks about oneself makes a
difference. If you think you can, you can . . . If you think you can't, you can't.

PS: Thread moved to the BlackHat Lounge.
