That statement isn't really technically true. Alexa can only count the traffic if they can see it. They can only see un-certified traffic if that user has an Alexa toolbar installed. With certification, Alexa can see everything instead of 5% of the traffic they can see normally.

For the rest of this month I will be focusing on how low I can get in the United States, which right now I'm sitting at 15,108. I'm pretty sure I can get that down to the top 1k.

3 days later and now the U.S. ranking is at 9,584 down from 15,108. Not bad for a 3 day run:

Is there any way of performing competition analysis based on Alexa Ranking?
 
Once you register an Alexa account for your domain, you have all sorts of competitive analysis tools inside the control panel.
 
Seems to be a very good method. Will give it a try once i have a plan in place.
 
I stopped being worry about alexa long time ago, all what matter now is how much site make per day with ads, that's the real scale lol.. don't u agree?

No, actually I don't agree with you. In order to get good advertising contracts, Alexa needs to be taken care of first as thats what ad companies look at first.

But what if you are trying to get to the point, where you only worry about how much you make per day with ads?
 
Without a good Alexa ranking you can't even get to that point.

When I first saw this I thought oh no not another proxy strategy to rank with alexa lol. This is so simple but I bet a lot of people are not doing it like me. That is why you have this community. To remind us sometimes the easiest path is the one we do not trust or forget about.
 
You have to stay subscribed. Its not just a one-time thing.
 
Yes wana know what will happen to the adsense account... Will i also able to see some few clicks or ban hammer..
