Furthermore to the Alexa game, and how easy it is to manipulate them, I now rank # 1 in the island country of Montserrat.

I have a liking for exotic countries, so I started that theme on Alexa and you can see in my expanded countries list which exotic island countries I started ranking in:

Anguilla, another island country on the South American coast line is ranking me at # 12 right now. I expect in another 2-3 days that will be # 1 as well.

Indeed it does. This afternoon I checked the country listing again (as it changes every 24 hours) and I see that I rank # 4 in the island country of Nauru.

When it concerns Alexa, its all about the traffic going to your website and the referrers used to get there. Alexa watches your incoming traffic and the referrers used in that traffic.

Don't media buyers use Alexa all the time to make sure the traffic a website they are buying ad space on is real. You know, third party verfication.
All I mean is, Alexa is very valuable.

Its all about the referrers used when traffic hits your website. As long as Alexa can see it, you get credit for it. Sending traffic to your website without referrers is pretty useless.
