Not true.. Google rank AI content but it needs to be optimized for E-A-T, which stands for Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness
Also make sure, if it meets the following criteria:
If It is high-quality, meaning it is well-written, informative, original, and engaging.
If It is relevant, meaning it matches the user's search intent and query.

Also, if you don't want 70% bounce rate, you need to manually edit and improve the text
Most people won't read after seeing it's just a garbage telling a lot about nothing, too repetitive or excessively politically correct

Yes it is true. Such blogs are getting penalty from Google. Better to post human written articles on the blog only.

If you are alone, how many articles can you do per blog. But if you use AI, you can create lot of articles for each blog. There will be down sides to using AI content also like sometimes Google gives penalty for such a content.

I've been running a semi AI blog for the last 4 months:
1. I write the article mockup in spanish.
2. Then ask ChatGPT to rewrite it in english and make it larger.
3. All images are AI generated.
4. I post it on a wordpress blog website with NO SEO strategy or whatever, just the Yoast SEO plugin installed.
It started to rank about 2 months ago.

Yes there is lot of risk in using AI content on blogs. Such blogs can be penalized by Google in future. All your efforts will be wasted because of this. So you should better choose the approach of manual articles.

Google couldn´t care less if the article was generate by AI or was written by humans.
I am no writer and most AI models can generate a better article than me and most "professional" writers.
How you generate an article is not important to Google, what they care is the value it generates to their end-users...PERIOD!!
If you´re going to be repurposing what´s already out there, then that´s where you´re going to get into indexing/ranking issues.

Google doesn’t mind if content is AI or human-made, as long as it’s useful and high-quality. But if the content is low-value or spammy, it won’t rank well. Just focus on making helpful stuff people want
