AI Article Penalty Speed Run Case study 4000 posts

let me borrow the lambo next week. DIBS!!

Looking really good. I’m sure that it takes more than 2-4 weeks. I bet if you start adding pics, vids, and interlinking you’ll see way more movement.

Open AI API gtp3 is that a plugin for generating content? Just wondering how managed to generate that much content quickly.

Thank a lot for your sharing again, can I ask you one more question:
Open AI API gtp3. I don't use a plugin for mass posting, I just set the screen limit higher and then select a ton of articles at once and hit post.

How much for paying to ai to write all your posts?

Updates-
Website still not dead
I collected the last of the keywords in my niche yesterday, which took a while to even upload them, and sort.
I narrowed down the thousands of keywords in the long tails from 25k to around 5-6 k
I have not created those articles yet because I'm not finished narrowing down
I believe about 200-300 more will be removed but I was too sleepy to continue past what was sorted out automatically
(these last few hundred need manual sorting by someone who knows the website, aka me )
Was hoping to have been able to set them up last night to begin creation but things didn't work out
Is it possible to change a forum post name? since if everything goes well by the end of the week my site size will double so I want to change 4k to 10 k lol
On another note, way more keywords at the bottom of the barrel are fully unique than I expected, but ill wait to see if they will produce any traffic for me
New things ill be looking to see is if google will even crawl all those new posts but google didn't complain from the first 4 k, so we will see.

One of the new AI sites that was in my niche fell off the whole serp yesterday for some reason. The other site is still there but I have no idea why this happened to them
or what this could be. Its possible google is just dancing them since they are still indexed for a ton of pages but even manually checking, I cant find them on a lot of old searches they were on, and I track them with a tool and even that shows they fell off, its odd.

Have you looked at the WP Import plugin? I’m using this as can bulk import, assign to categories and schedule posting.

PS: I have started work on my AI content site (adding to existing site). Thanks for the tip in LowFruits clustering - that’s a time saver!
I haven't but I will today as I might need it. You are welcome, its a quick way to get a look at the serps of multiple keywords, and its a good cheap option when you arent working with a ton. It starts getting expensive when you are analyzing thousands.

Ill let you borrow when I am on lambo #2, right now I'm on 0.
Today ill be looking into interlinking better aswell as posting more so we will see!

Like 10 plugins use it, any one of them you can use since you can change prompts yourself and then bulk create. The API is just your personal API you get from open AI to put into the plugins for your generation, meaning you will get charged for your generation but you will use the plugin to guide and speed the process.

It depends on the post, but for the 4k I last did it didn't cost over 120$

I spoke too soon, method my guy used before would have a multitude of articles being made at one time............ but its broken so I can't use it. This alternative plugin I'm using allows bulk upload but it will only process one at a time.......... and each article takes like 2 minutes.
That's 7 days just to get 5 k articles out. Im gonna sleep and hopefully, either original method is fixed tomorrow or ill try to find something faster, cus its not like slower = better quality, its the same API generating all of this.
I knew a lot of other ways to gen the articles were out there, but I didn't realize how god-awful slow they were compared the one I was using. Now it makes sense to me why people were asking how I did it so fast. In my head I was thinking (what do you even mean? my partner just hit the "generate" button last time I checked, nothing special). Its by pure luck the original method I found just happened to be insanely fast im guessing because we didn't do anything crazy to even get to it. Finding it was as easy as looking for "bulk ai content generators".
I put 400 to generate while I go to sleep now but it pains me how this will still not be finished when I wake up. Then their is also the chance something goes wrong while im sleeping and it just does nothing. Although its likely the only reason I used to have a lot of tech issues with the 4000 posts I generated was because I was generating like 10 a minute back then.

Nothing really exciting to report from today, traffic appears to be hitting some sort of level, since this week is only roughly a 10% gain over last week.
Probably partially do to me not been focused on updating winners.
I think I've noticed something, articles I hand update are way less likely to bounce around as much.
Given, all articles I write are 2500 words minimum while AI articles are 500-800
I also optimize all titles I write for click-through (its a habit at this point even if I have no competition on the serp)
I could be wrong but in my personal opinion, I think its the CTR on articles I update and word count that keep them in the spots they get.
So if I could recommend something, its just if you have a good "winner" then it might do you well to actually put some money into the post.
All articles on the site that haven't been updated by me are basically just the keyword, since I hate the AI titles and the fact they become the URL
when you are using plugins so I set them to just generate keyword as title.
you can make a big argument that im missing a lot of potential traffic gain just based on lack of ctr optimization alone. Many keywords also
benefit from numbers for ctr.
(you are more likely to click on an article saying 15 facts about whales, than an article saying "facts about whales" )

Me aswell, or at least if they would even have natural progression. If I posted a normal human article, it would take weeks to rank then weeks to drop if not years, if these have extreme volatility in serps it would lead me to believe google really is treating them different, however it could be other factors (like me not adding images, or youtube content because no one has shown me anything able to do this at the scale I want yet - please let me know if anyone has anything that can have relevant videos and images auto added to thousands of posts).

Ill try
1) I don't think this is worth putting into a number since significant time has. If I compare my last 2 weeks with the 2 weeks before (since less than 2 weeks have passed since this has started) then my traffic gain is 32.75% currently over the 2 weeks before. Keep in mind the site is coming out of its off-season which is why I don't want to compare it to December.
2) Post lengths all range between 600-1000 words, I was just going for scale, I have no idea how successful or painful this will end up so doubling the word count (doubling the cost of doing this) wasn't really something I planned to do.
3) no, except for one single subcategory of the website (only 200 of the ai posts) I have interlinked to themselves to see if content cluster is going to change anything for them vs the rest.
4) DA isn't very high, its only 34, however, that is completely natural, link-building was never really done on this site.

This is very niche specific, I don't think this will work in many other niches that have too much niche only terms and are too big. For this niche, it was picked by a younger me starting websites because it was easy to search for. I will just give an example for another niche so you get the idea.
Lets say most the keywords in the niche start like this "How to build a "insert variable keyword here, house, dog house, bird bath, you name it"".
I had every single keyword that begins with "how to build a" scrapped (use whatever keyword tool you have, Ahrefs, sem rush, etc etc.
Then have them all sorted by traffic, even if something has 10 traffic in a whole month it was added since keyword tools are often wrong anyways.
Then use a tool that can cluster keywords BASED ON SERP results, not based on just having the same words. As google knows that "how to build a fence" and "how to build a wood fence" are practically the same thing and can rank for either term, but if you don't cluster these then you will end up making articles targeting the same terms even though they have different words.
like 800 words avg

In SEO nothing is guaranteed, I've had sites that on paper were perfect flop before, be it algo, or whatever. So this site could have anything happen to it, doesn't necessarily mean the AI articles caused the issue but that will be for us to judge in the future.
Im considering to change high-performing articles into human-written well done ones but....... As this is a test where anything could happen to this site, and I don't current have a site of the exact niche I can recover the articles to if this one burns, I'm not sure I want to invest in that. At the very least I am going to try it with 10 or so if the website has a big traffic hit, we can see if the updated articles actually kept their ranks. If you can show me other similar experiments that have success lasting a while then I might consider being more proactive.
No one in their right mind is grouping keywords manually, I had to turn over 10000 keywords into clusters since hundreds are just different spellings or very similar to other keywords. Frankly, even though I'm in the niche, its like asking a gardener if they know every possible name for different plants. Im not one for endorsing any sort of tool but anything like lowfruits etc that clusters by serp similarity is decent enough IMO.

I will try not to forget lol, I more often lurk on this forum than actually post, so this is probably the first time I'm actively showing things from my own sites.

Any recommendations? I'm not sure exactly how to super charge this, do you know something that could automatically interlink them all?

No, testing bare bones, raw AI, 100% detectable.
Every rewriter I've tried doesn't deliver acceptable results as far as reducing AI detectability (except maybe jasper), however I'm sure rewriting 3 million words isn't going to be cheap, and idk if anyone has a way for me to do that at scale. If a rewriter isn't going to make it undetectable to Originality then I don't even see the point in me trying. Fooling free tools doesn't make me hopeful to fool google if they ever decide to crack down on this.
Which, despite what most people say, I think they will. It is almost crazy to image you could literally remake the entire Investopedia website in 3 days with AI and have something like that rank, even if it would never beat the real website, even ranking 1% of the traffic sites like those get can make a single person millions. I cant see in my right mind how this would be sustainable, I just started this experiment and already someone else has started doing the same thing in the same exact niche and rank next to me on some keywords, if just 10 people do this, that's a whole serp of AI rubbish the posters have never even read.
Just being honest because I assure you no one who posts thousands of AI articles has read all their articles. Even of the thousands I've posted, only around 300 have I seen with my own eyes. Some, I only see them because they are getting impressions and traffic.
Do you have a name of that keyword tool? "Tool that can cluster keywords based on SERP"

Very interesting topic! I wish you nothing but good luck!!!

I just do not understand why you do not monetize your site?
You can use a plugin, so you can insert any offer for example after 2 or 4 paragraphs and all pages will be advertising. Many methods of monetization.

I removed ads only because my main sites were on the same networks etc and I'm just removing some of my risk. Nothing I earn on this site at this traffic level from adds is worth my main sites being taken off a network or any other BS that could happen based on someones definition of "low quality content". Im not saying people don't get on to adsense etc with AI content etc but I've just heard and seen some things and its safer for me to just work with things as they go as far as ads.
Affiliate products were never taken off the site it just never had much because I dropped the site years back.
What plugin you recommend for pushing offers if any?
Thanks. Which one do you use?
I use lowfruits basically for this case study, that is why Mjohn said it.
The tool us useful for more than that alone, its good for serp analysis etc. You can set a target DA that you consider as "weak " and you can beat and it will help arrange keywords by weakest serp for you (weak meaning its filled with low DA sites, forums, etc, you can also extract word counts from all pages).
Your basic report will look like this:
1677811343192.png

green fruits are low DA (based on what you set)
Blue are things like forums, reddit, quora, user generated content sites. You can expand each keyword to veiw the would serp for yourself etc, and export.
To use cluster you put all your keywords in, and then after you analyze them all you set what you want it to sort them like in cluster (in general I use around 50-80% similar in top 10, meaning the keywords top ten will share 5-8 results or more, if google things 2 keywords should produce practically the same results they are likely related)
Play around with it in your niche to see what gives you good results, manually edit little things you dont like before making your articles. This isnt fully automatic but its better than being blind, and you can export all this information.
1677811798768.png
The cluster also sets the highest searched keyword in the cluster as the main keyword so when you look into each cluster you will usually see all the keywords in there are practically asking the same thing but in different ways.
I highly suggest you only import your own pre decided lists of keywords to save yourself money and from pulling keywords you have no intention of even analysing in reports.
In order to cluster, all must be analysed so you basically pay for every key word.
One keyword is one credit1677811975148.png

Also remember to check "keywords not in cluster" as that will have keywords that dont have any other related keywords in your list, these will all likely be something worth a seperate article each as they arent common enough in serp results (based on your setting for cluster).
(time is when reports are added, not when you last used or added keywords to them)
1677812301133.png

You can go crazy with it to find easy to rank for keywords for new sites based on how underserved a keyword is basically, but as far as this AI stuff you can use it for clustering out a ton of keywords that would basically be making duplicate content.
I dont work for this company or anything, and something cheaper probably exists but idk where or what. Im just typing this out rn so if someone asks again I can copy paste this or direct them to it since ive gotten that question a few times.
Dang, feels like I wrote a product review that needs an affiliate link but im pretty sure those arent allowed here so im just sharing this to help whoever reads it and needs a tool sorta like this.
I use it a decent bit, the numbers probably wouldnt show it because I "hide" keywords ive already used and covered etc and that makes them not show on the report (however you are free to unhide them whenever and you keep the data from before you hid them)

AI site competitor now only has 95 pages indexed.............. im not sure what the heck is going on with that site.

All of my 4k plus are still indexed

Thats all I think is I can say about yesterday. Thanks for reading, any thoughts or suggestions apreciated.

@Jaordas - another thing I like about LowFruits is the competitor tab in each report that shows sites by DA ranking for the keywords. I can then take these sites, go to Semrush, pull their “question” keywords and import back into the LowFruit report.

Great idea, ive not thought about that application.
So far I've used the competitor tab to keep track of the top related sites in my niche as I have "mega reports" for my separate websites and unlike other competitor tools, since this uses the serp information you pulled and shows every possible competitor it really let me find hundreds of sites in my niche or tangentially related that were basically gold minds for content ideas. You can see Ad network and if they are an affiliate site you can basically go through their top articles and see what they promote and how.
I also have a medium account that gets indexed etc so if a medium article is on a serp I want I just knock it off and control 2 spots. (not worth the effort to do this with all keywords but a few wins can be found).
If you do link building, it basically gives you an order of the relevant websites in your set to check if possible to get a link from them.
If you know what you are looking for you can find some crazy things like in my niche I sometimes find things like, a brand new domain, barely 2 years old already on Adthrive........ adthrive requires 100 k page views and this site is already using it in less than 2 years? You can dig into it and find crazy traffic posts / ideas that normal keyword research doesn't bring up (check if they are ranking with black had methods though, theirs a difference between fresh site ranking and a crazy black hat site ranking, so you cant just expect to beat even new sites for some keywords).
Its also tells you sites they think have shops, and I've been able to get 10% and higher affiliate commissions from these stores in my niche over the pennies amazon etc would give (obviously vet them yourself as not all e-commerce stores are good, in fact most are bad IMO but if a website already gens high traffic, and it has a store, the owner usually has at least a decent idea what they are doing).

Or if you are someone more into selling products yourself, you can look at them from product ideas ig

when you say u
Ahrefs> Search a major word in your niche eg. (dog) > take every keyword with traffic (best dogs, to long tails)> start removing brands and useless keywords (-reddit, - qoura, - youtube etc etc etc). Cluster all similar keywords by 60% serp similarity on Lowfruits (this will cost money for the credits).
Make articles. (cluster will usually show the most searched word in the group, so that is the one you will use as an articles main key word) and then all keywords that are unique will be in the unclustered section. This just means that their is no other keywords with a serp that has 60% similar results (meaning google things these are mostly unique topics to all the others).
That is just one idea, I am not known for keyword research, you would be better off looking at other posts for more precise info lol.
that's interesting but a bit confusing. Can you please give an example.

@Jaordas - thanks again for your inspiration! I have added AI posts to one site and 70 to another. Plan is to keep adding to different sites and to keep improving the process. With my process I think I can output 70-100 AI posts per day, including the keyword research & clustering part.

Thank you for updating the news. It reminds me of a new episode of the show. Very cool.
What plugin did you use to make Internal Links? I guess you did it automatically.

This is awesome, im preparing something like this but with several fresh sites in several niches that can pull many related stuff.
Im wondering, do you do internal linking in content, auto external links or just a plugin to add few random related articles below the content? if you are using a plugin, which?

Are these new sites?

Are these new sites?

No, currently using aged sites (1 year+). These were sites I created and have left because they have died off (many because they were old school Amazon Affiliate sites). I will also create new sites though and see how these get on.
