AI Article Penalty Speed Run Case study 4000 posts

How did you manage to get 4000 contents out? Technically I mean.

So, yesterdays traffic isnt finalized yet but its basically around the same level as the high day before.

Also, something I dont think I mentioned before but is worth knowing, this niche im in almost primarily has articles with 2k words minimum. My Ai posts are half that so the fact they rank at all is interesting to me. All the traffic gain im seeing is from long tail keywords which had low Comp so within a few days I already rank #1 for them.

this is one of my delimma in kw research......the sorting out of the same kw with the same meaning or intent. With hundreds of them its so hard to sort them all out so aometimes I end up making an article pretty much the same with another LOL
I can relate, and sadly, event though I think clustering by serp results is best way, I do think you still need to manually look at things after you cluster. Ive seen a few times where google doesn't even have enough material for a completely different serp so it would end up very similar to a related search even though you in reality know the search is nothing related, but when you cluster, a machine would put them together since google things they are related. Also, sometimes google doesn't pick up on 2 things being the same thing so you actually need to write 2 versions of the same article with a different heading to rank for both. However the vast majority of duplicate can be removed off your table if you can get keywords combined properly.
Ofc that is implied. But what I meant is that AI content is not a reason to have problems if your website already has some traffic, authority and is already accepted in an ad network. Nor posting 4000 posts should pose a problem, perhaps 100,000 would be a red flag.

Your example with investopedia is good because in that case google should penalize, since it's a competitive ymyl niche and generic AI content would be seen as thin.

But for a smaller low comp niche like yours it should work. E
I can see your point. I don't know what google will do Eventually. It is hitting me with major FOMO. Since if I really think about it, nothing is stopping me from now making 100 AI sites in 100 niches. Even if I could only scalp 100 dollars a month off each site just from the AI ranking for long tail keywords, that would be 10 k a month, and unless google hits AI content as a whole, its unlikely all 100 would burn at any given time. I don't really like this if this is the future of blogging but if it is then I have to adapt in some way.
Valuable post, thanks for sharing
You are welcome, thanks for reading
Interesting.
I'm testing out something similar in the pet niche
I would love if you could share some results with me, you don't need to reveal anything you don't want to but id appreciate seeing how google treats the site no matter big or small.
How did you manage to get 4000 contents out? Technically I mean.
Collected the keywords, bought the content, had it all auto-published. No other editing was really done.
I don't really want to promote things because of the nature of this but I will say almost everything I used is very easy to find, people are selling Ai content like crazy, you could get an API and just mass produce... etc etc. I don't condone doing these things though.

Ah ok, I didn't understand that you had bought the contents.

Nice progress.

I think it's very likely this will be the future. Google is happy to have more websites and competition between them. It will become hard for us, probably 100 AI sites making $1 each instead of $100 each but hopefully there is more time until that point.

I might just be coping but at least I dont think it will be that bad for people who create quality even with AI, since the easiest thing to do is just pumping out the content, optimizing every single article and ensuring they are worth their rankings will be the hard part, and the part that makes the money difference. Like right now of the 4k articles probably over half are already ranking in the top ten of the keyword they are made for but for any rankings, anything other than the top 3 results gives no traffic at all. So even for my site with DA, Links, has been in the niche for years. It isn't insta taking all the spots with AI content (well, this probably isn't a good example since I'm not even a month into the case study). I just feel like someone making these thousand-post blogs might not do aswell as someone who can make 500 high quality posts that could rank for the top 500 keywords in the niche. Since the top 1000 keywords in the niche will have way more traffic than the next 3000 combined. I could be wrong though because if I think about it, now giant brands can produce content way cheaper, I can totally see big websites now digging down into the long tails of their niche and not leaving anything for the little guy anymore.
A low comp keyword can go from having 0 coverage to having 10 sites on it in a day.

I agree with this. But this works only if your competition has the same authority or lower.

I guess a good strategy would be to find AI sites and steal their top 5% keywords (ones bringing the bulk of traffic) and then double down on quality content and links to outrank them.

This will kill a lot of niches, hopefully not every single niche.

Following this. I’m getting ready to start mass producing ai content and posting on a 10 year old domain of mine (been indexed that whole time) that got wiped out in December 2020 core update. It only gets a handful of visitors a week now.

And then I came across this. Nice.

Hope it works out.

Yeah, however new sites can enter rankings all the time, for my best keywords the competition will usually have better stats than me but I'm ranking based on optimizations and content. That will likely be a good strategy (the stealing AI contents best rankers) especially if the AI site uses smaller word counts like mine (600-1000) and still got the ranking fast. Since a lot of new sites with AI have low domain stats its practically the same thing as current methods where people target the best keywords other small sites are ranking for, the difference is just now as single AI site with thousands of posts in your niche can more easily show you what searches were the easiest for it to rank for. It is no coincidence to me that for the pages I'm now getting the most traffic for from the new posts, I see other AI sites in the serp for the keyword. If it is easy for them, its going to be easy for me.

Thanks, I hope so aswell, if it does work out well enough ill consider giving the site some love rather than it just being a case study. I wish you luck with your own goals and would appreciate if you share anything about how your project goes. If you ever make a post on it please let me know.

As I mentioned before, I'm doing a similar test with reddit (I haven't started manually writing ranking articles on reddit for my site yet).
So imagine what will happen when you start manually re-writing the best performing articles.

I can't remember if you mentioned this, but what did you do about images for your posts? I can't imagine you took the time to pick them out by hand.

What is the problem if I create several sites at the same time. If I were you, I would create 10 websites a week.

I mentioned before but im not that invested into this, I just set every new post to a basic site-wide Featured image. If I could find something to automate getting relevant images, and youtube videos then id do it but I've still found nothing and no one as shown me the way. I don't even care if its a soft ware I need to pay for, I just wish to be able to do it. Frankly the articles are ranking just like that.
How did you generate the articles and post them ?
I bought them from a seller, and bulk upload the text then bulk post.

I probably should, other wise I might feel like I fell off / fell behind by the time I realized I could have made some good money this way. That is assuming google never hits this so hard it cant get back up.

So, traffic is a little down but still above last week, it didnt look sexy enough to post so im just going to update on this since its more interesting.
These are the top 6 AI articles out of the 4k from the last 2 weeks. In 2 weeks they have these much clicks, which to make a whole month just multiply by 2.
It isnt the craziest traffic but its something, to even get ranks and traffic from posts in less than a month is something many people only dream about.
I added the CTR since these ranked so fast cus they are on topics where practically no one in my niche has written a good aritcle for (but since I scraped and published posts for the entire niche, im now on even the underserved keywords).
The ones with the lower ctr are ranked lower for their main term but still are getting decent clicks for new posts, they have more growth potential than the ones that already dominate the whole term. Like the page with 102 clicks is number one for its keyword and every variation of it (31.7% might seem low for a number one spot ctr but this is including all the other random keywords its ranking for).
I need to figure out a way to check the traffic my sight is gaining but comepletely remove all the old human posts so we can just look at how the AI articles are doing.

GSA content generator, SEO content machine are a couple of software that can scrape and add relevant videos and images into your articles and post them to wordpress when they are done (or schedule posting). You just have to add your articles to it and tell it how to scrape and from what source(s).

might make it more complicated but it’s an option.

How are you monetising it and managing the interlinks?
No, I removed monetization for the time being as mentioned before, but before removing it the blog was making around 250$ a month (I barely touch this thing that's why it has died down so much) but my screenshots show its lifetime earning before the start of this case study.

Do those work on posts that have already been published and are live on the website?

No.
You can use a program like zennoposter (paid user friendly) or browser automation studio (free not user friendly to me) to do it for you if there’s something common element between the posts. Otherwise you have to do it manually as you mentioned already.

I have 9 years experience with zennoposter if you need help with that. I don’t expect compensation and I don’t sell via pm but I’ll help you out if I can.

Or you’ll have to find some other smart way I don’t know about to add images and videos in your current posts :)
