Ahrefs or Majestic

OP , as you are seeing you will see a vast level of opinion on tools due to people seeing the same thing through different eyes , with that said there are pros and cons to both tools and my best advice would be to try out each tool for 30 days and equate value of tool to price point against your level of need and at the end you will have your answer.

I personally prefer Ahrefs, the database they have is huge and when it comes to crawling it's faster compared to majestic.

Thanks for your suggestions

I just read this article today:
13 Things That Only Ahrefs Can Do
https://ahrefs.com/blog/unique-features-ahrefs/

It all depends which tool fits you most. And if a site blocks Ahrefs crawlers, no matter how good the tool is, you would have to go with an alternative.

Majestic is way too slow at picking links. Semrush also good, but ahref is best.

Do u have the access to both.great

I never paid a penny for both of them. But Ahrefs is far much faster in crawling, which makes it normal to have more discovered domains/backlinks.

So, if you are asking about which is better about discovering backlinks, Ahrefs is n1 without any doubt (That includes Moz too).
However, PageRank and DomainRank, as well as DomainAuthority and PageAutorithy, are just metrics created by these websites to give an off-page score to the pages and domains crawled. No one of them is 100% accurate, so I would advise you to not use them as the first trusted reference.

These tools are just to help you, making the ranking game easier for you. Nothing more and nothing less, Google gives the final real metrics

Good luck! Sincerely, Cheker

Both are equal, but a little bit ahref is better than majestic.

I concur with the majority of the users here in that Ahrefs is the superior tool although majestic has its merits and is solid as well. The database size of Ahrefs takes the cake for me however.

Use ahref. It focus on traffic and rank

My suggestion will be Ahrefs.

Always thought Majestic is better. But seeing all these answers is a real eye-opener. Thanks guys :)

If you have a good budget you may go with Ahrefs which nowadays is the one with the largest database. If you are planning to go through a GB, Ahrefs generally sucks because of it intense limits, so I may prefer a super combo of Majestic + SERPstat + CognitiveSEO that generally can be found for less than $20 and you will get a summed up larger database (although you have to be tackling 3 sites at the same tie)

Personally I feel comfortable with Majestic and may prefer to have it than not to have it if I'm in a low budget (despite this is an unpopular opinion). I grew up with Majestic after all, although I cannot live with Ahrefs nowadays.

Don't make me choose :D

I'm also on Serpstat but they have a limit with their ranking tool. I'm interested to know, where could you find that for 20 dollars?

There are multiple Group Buys around there. I've been testing a lot for long years and I've had a lot of bad experiences. Some people prefer to either "roll" the trial accounts than the headache of this find. And they fail a lot.
At some point, you may find some good GB.

Both are different tools. But Ahrefs has more features and it is better than Majestic.

AHREF is best one comparing to Majestic. Both have their own features and algorithm.

I recommend you to buy majestic.com because it is a very good tool for analysing sites and will help you to analyse sites which you will be planning to buy in future. Have a ncie day mate !

I. Think Ahrefs lately has just been Marketing better when looking at domains what do you check ? Tf CF or dr ur honestly ?

I would go with AHref as what I need is already there, from ranking check to competitor's backlinks and traffic analytic.

I prefer AHREFS; it is extremely fast and nearly matches Webmasters in organic rankings for new sites (but eventually falls off).

My suggestion Ahrefs is the best compared to the Majestic tool.

Ahrefs has much more data than majestic but it's more expensive. There are cases where majestic has data that ahrefs doesn't and vice versa, so ideally, you should use both. IRL, most people without an agency cannot afford or justify Ahrefs' prices. So majestic is a decent alternative (with less data).

TR and CR are something I glance over, but I usually look at the backlinks, they are the source of it all.

I always found Ahref to be more optimistic when it came to a domain, me being more of a pesimist, I always go for the worst case scenario.

Ahrefs index is very fast as compared to majestic. If you are checking backlinks, RDs, anchor texts etc, ahrefs should be your choice.
