Ahrefs or Majestic

I would go with Ahrefs and it´s not even a close decision for me.

Majestic besides showing a slower performance than Ahrefs particularly when auditing a website it has the largest database in the world for any SEO tool!

Ahrefs claim they use over 2,000 servers worldwide!

Over 1 billion pages indexed and they update this every single month!

Not to mention, over 10 billion keywords from 10 search engines from over 170 different countries.

Also, Ahrefs blog and YouTube channel have amazing value on how to squeeze the shit out of the software. Particularly, their Keyword Research and Linkbuilding YouTube playlist are incredible. Sam Oh does a great job explaining everything pretty much spoonfed.

Their blog doesn´t fall one bit behind as they also present the info in a ridiculous easy-to-follow guidelines anyone can follow along.

That´s my 2cc

If i choose a website for backlinks which one i have to choose, TF low with DR high?

Yeah, DR is a good metric.

When it comes to TF..

If it's low, the site could be great.
If it's high, the site could be garbage.

This is the problem with TF.

But with DR..

If it's high, the site is definitely great. I've never seen a DR50+ that's not great and I've never seen a DR30-50 that's not good.

DR20-30 is more unreliable. A DR25 can be garbage.

With DR, if it's low, the site could still be good, but unlike TF, when DR is high, the site is definitely good. This is the core difference with them now.

Majestic has gotten so bad, it's just not worth it by its self now. You really can't judge a domain with majestic anymore. It misses so many good backlinks.

For RDs, I personally export ahrefs and majestic, remove duplicates and that's my count, but if I were to only use one, it would definitely have to be ahrefs.

The TF doesn't really tell you much. It could be 8 and the site could be amazing. It could be 30 and the site could be crap.

Metrics are only a filter anyway. Look at the backlinks.

You want to see contextuals. DR10 contextuals, DR50 contextuals, DR90 contextuals. Just look for real, natural links in articles/content as opposed to lists/directories/forums/comments. The more of those, the better. That's all there is to it.

The DR as a metric is quite accurate, in my opinion more so than DA from MOZ.

If you go with TF/CF, then this is the one for you. Topical Trust Flow, some people like, but it's not the be all and end all. @splishsplash did a nice write up on how these can easily be manipulated.

Exactly. Majestic TF, like Moz Metrics (DA/PA), can be easily manipulated. If we are about ahrefs - it's not that easy with DR. DR is much, much better and real metric.
Ahrefs is great for kw research, competition, checking links, outbound links, everything.

For me, ahrefs is must have in seo game.

Thanks For Your Suggestions

Ahrefs is superior in every way.
1. Their backlink database is bigger, fresher and better than any other tool, including Majestic.
2. They give you a ton of more useful data which Majestic doesnt have at all - organic traffic, keywords, keywords explorer and what not.

Completely agree! Tested other tools and ahref was my final choice

Majestic is way too slow at picking links. Semrush also good, but ahref is best.

I never paid a penny for both of them. But Ahrefs is far much faster in crawling, which makes it normal to have more discovered domains/backlinks.

So, if you are asking about which is better about discovering backlinks, Ahrefs is n1 without any doubt (That includes Moz too).
However, PageRank and DomainRank, as well as DomainAuthority and PageAutorithy, are just metrics created by these websites to give an off-page score to the pages and domains crawled. No one of them is 100% accurate, so I would advise you to not use them as the first trusted reference.

These tools are just to help you, making the ranking game easier for you. Nothing more and nothing less, Google gives the final real metrics

Good luck! Sincerely, Cheker

Both are equal, but a little bit ahref is better than majestic.

without paying them how do you say this one.

I concur with the majority of the users here in that Ahrefs is the superior tool although majestic has its merits and is solid as well. The database size of Ahrefs takes the cake for me however.
