Ahrefs earlier published an article that llms.txt is not necessary and most crawlers ignore it. I don't know if they published it as a satire on webmasters who still use llms.txt or just trying to rank for a new keyword, they came up with a ridiculous idea. They created an llms.txt generator that has exact same behavior of game hacks CPA landing pages. You enter your website, it processes the data, shows you multiple updates as if generating output in real time, and when you expect the results, it tells you to complete an action - a survey, an app download, etc. Here they want you to read their article on why llms.txt doesn't work.
I have seen several prominent SEO publishers sharing this tool (probably thinking if it's a real llms.txt generator). Google would've given us a penalty for misleading content if any of us does such a thing. But since it's a top brand, they keep their eyes half shut.
