I have a second account for adwords and wanted to prevent getting it banned by using a proxy. I go to my regular source for proxies and clean up the list to just about 3 or so of over 120mbps and Elite. I try to log onto google, and it doesn't allow the sign on, it seems to be blocking it..

Objective: To be able to effectively run multiple accounts while minimizing account ban/suspension for the same product.

Share!

Thanks and Reps given..

Weird. What exactly do you mean by "doesn't allow the sign on, it seems to be blocking it.."? What error message do you get?

The same product or the same website?
No chance to promote the same website with same product and keywords - G will ban you at the speed of light.
If build different websites - make sure that they are different not only in domain names. If your niche is competitive, concurrents will make a complaint if they see unhealthy traffic.

It's always better to make 1 good website with closely related keywords and relevant ads. If your niche is not competative - you'll get high ranks with low costs without conflicts with google. If it is - no matter how many ads (acc's) you make - they'll suck. I mean if they are not good enough.

I believe I've figured it out. It needs to be a ssl/https proxy because once you sign in to G it automatically switches over to https

The same website. Is using adwords a good way to build page rank with the given keywords? I was thinking about using different keywords on both accounts..More or less the " not putting all the eggs in one basket" type of thing by spreading the costs. Instead of using the same website, what do you think about just throwing in the aff link in the url field for the ad?

Thanks for the prompt response guys, keep them coming. Thanks and reps given..

This will get you banned.

Just a quick thought that came to mind to change url..
Now say I register a domain and have it set up to redirect to the aff link? Would that be better? (Another quick idea)

No, you will still be banned, even if you redirect. You have to have an actual landing page to be safe. Just make a page dedicated to what you are promoting, it shouldn't affect your sales too much.

You have to realize just how much money is both spent and made with Adwords everyday, and pretty much every idea you can come up with to game the system, even just a little, no matter how good it may, will have already been tried back in 2003 and is old news to g00gle.

That's what I'll end up doing..
Thanks again.

Point taken.

You can promote the same website with different keywords if these keywords are from different topic. Because if you use broad match, slightly different keywords will show ads for the same search term and this is violation of adwords tos.

But I wouldn't create multiple adwords acc's, cause I'm pretty sure that they'll ban both accs when something is going wrong with one of them. To avoid this you should really carefully use acc's (proxies, WM's and so on) to show google that these accs were made by different people.

I suggest to avoid google's terms violation as long as you can. They are becoming smarter and smarter and they pay more and more attention to quality and behavior of they advertisers.
Look through this forum - there are many topics about cpa + adwords. Also I suggest adwords + clickbank or some other reselling. But before that, dig into adwords forums, community and help center (help center at first), or you'll definitelly waste much money before you'll understand what's going on.

Good luck. :plane:
