Hi Guys,

In adword call only campaign can I use one number which is not listed on website for call only ad or not?
I dont wanna experiment with the ad first.

So suggestions please

Thanks

Is the call only actually that much more effective?

In my experience, about 60% of the users who clicks on the ad won't make the call. Use Google's tracking number to track the calls (you can set a conversion pixel to fire after a 1:30 minutes of call - that's what I use in most cases, but it really depends on the business).

Wow, so you get around 40% conversion on your clicks?? To me that's very impressive. I will have to look into this. Thanks

I'm talking about call only ads (where theoretically every click is a call).

40% after they make the call which is the action here. So it's like the second click if it were a click only ad. Click(call) -> landing page(voice convincing) -> second click. That is what the 40% is about.

What I meant is that only 40% of the users who click the click to call ads actually makes the call. That's why I recommended the tracking number Google provides.

The phone number must be in the website, that's AdWords policy.
