Adwords and Affiliate Links

Hi all,

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to PPC, but what are the rules about having/ using an affiliate link in Google Adwords? Are you allowed to display the "official site" web URL and then have your own affiliate link...which will be a different URL, although it takes it to the official website (like advertised in the ad).

I know you used to be able to do this, but have there been recent changes?

you need to cloak. you cannot drive traffic to your aff url with Adwords nor can you use a Display url that differs from the destination url, unless, again, you apply cloaking on it

No way your ad will going to be disapproved or account banned
Don't do it if you want your adwordsmto stay open for long time

Yep- this is no joke. Do it and your account could be banned for LIFE! It's really nothing you'd want to happen.
