I'm running a 'fake' website to collect user device information for a project I'm building, problem is, that I can't generate enough amount of traffic to get a good amount of user data.

I only need people to visit and load my website, no other actions are beneficial for me.

I looked into pop-under ads and they seem to be perfect for what I'm looking for, however I tried one platform to advertise my website but they refuse to launch the ad campaign because my website is "incomplete" (even though the website looks somewhat legit with multiple tabs, images text etc...).

I don't really wanna run into the same issue, so I was wondering if anyone know some services that could provide me pop-under ads without being too strict regarding the website content. I can accept really low quality traffic since I only need real user data.

Thanks !

Why don't you consider running an ad on Facebook to gain visitors? You can target the ad to certain geographical region so you will get data of people from that region.

I took a look at facebook ads and I believe they are quite pricey compared to other services, I only need cheap traffic and geo doesn't really matter for my use case.
And pop under ads are perfect since I get a 100% ROI with them since my goal is just to have unique users loading my website, not purchasing anything or registering.

Run ads on FB and the media you wanna choose. Choose the title: "Visit my site and earn $2 for each click" :D

Facebook is the cheapest. If you find it pricey, paid ads are not for you and you may want to look for Reddit.
If you have an account with good karma you can place your links into some very popular subreddits, and even if they are taken down in a couple of minutes you can still get a hundred clicks on them.

You are correct pop ads will be the cheapest traffic.

But If they say your website is incomplete why not just complete it, so they will run them?

Create an ebook that should be downloadable by the visitors.

I suggest this because, if your ebook is much useful to the visitors, you will get real traffic to your page easily.

For that, you should have a bunch of social accounts and more followers.

Hope useful free stuff can get you more followers and traffic to your site.

Leverage your ideas in the Social networks as much as you can Because IG is more effective than FB nowadays

IG posts, reels, and some business accounts are useful for you and get banner ads on the websites
