Advice Please... Need to changeover a website from HTML to WP

Is there an easy way to change a website over from HTML to WP?

I have a friend ask me to give their website an updated look and add tons of functionality to it -
thig is - I'm not great with HTML. If I can change it over to WP it will be easier overall to work on as
one thing they asked was being able to post instantaniously on the site and without knowledge of HTML themselves it's pretty impossible.

You need to convert the HTML to a Wordpress theme that will allow you to display the content. If you are not good with HTML then I’m going to guess you’re not going to be good writing php code to create a theme. It’s not hard at all, but will take time.

If the skills are lacking and there are no funds to hire someone to do the work, then I would find and install a Wordpress theme and then copy the content from the HTML site and paste it as new pages in Wordpress.

Edit: Another option might be using a builder tool in Wordpress such as Elementor to recreate your HTML website.
