Adsense : Should i place ads automatic or manual?

Hey BHW,

yesterday my quiz site finally got Adsense approved and now i'm not shure if I should place the ads automatically or manual.

What are you guys experiences with this? Which one makes more money?

No one can tell you since it depends on too many parameters; you will need to try both with a large volume of visitors to be sure.

Some of my sites perform better with the auto ads, some not.
This setup works best for me in sites with long informative articles (2-3k words)

• Before the first H2 (Display)
• Before the first H3 (In-Article)
• After the two H2 (In-Article)

I only display three ads by page maximum.

You can use the WP plugin "Advanced ADS" which helps to put ads in the right places.
