Hi,

I created a new website and I used several articles from one of my old website (from 2013 or so). The old website expired in 2014 and the articles from it are not indexed anymore.

Can I use the new website to apply for AdSens in this case? Thanks

Adsense approve only unique articles

If the articles are not indexed in google. Yes, you can use it to apply. It will be seen as a new/unique articles.
We scrape contents from archive and use it on our websites every now and then so long the articles are not indexed.

I thins you should have at least 10 quality articles with at least 500 words each.

Go and write 20 articles first just to be sure and make it longer, probably 1000+ word articles and you're good to go.

Short answer is yes, so long as the articles are no longer indexed, I recycled some from my old website

Tidy up your website, write solid and unique content and I am sure you will get the approval. If you have that old content be sure it is not indexed, but if it is from a few years ago then you are safe.
If you have some earlier articles ( 1-3 months) , then rewrite them or de-index them to be safe.
