Hi there. I\ve got an idea. Please dont judge me and make me understand please.
I will make an website with good content. What if I will buy traffic for my website, and all the traffic will go through google to my website, around 150-200 unique visits to my website and daily to make clicks to ads via PPC. Let me know please if its gonna work or not. Who tried this idea?

I think you should ask yourself why you think it will work in the first place.

What content are you going to make that is so engaging? To give you an idea even qualified ad traffic on a good landing page will bounce at higher than 50% often. Basically there is no way on a small scale to buy traffic and monetize it with adsense + content. You will make absolutely no money if that is your goal.

OP if you want to risk it, go ahead give it a try. Just make sure your traffic source is a good one. I was people doing arbitrage and earning good, but when we talk about Adsense things can go really wrong on so many levels.

Would you recommend something instead of adsense that will work with ppc? Thanks

Arbitrage doesn't work in 2019…

This is comically, obscenely wrong and speaks of an ignorance I've rarely seen on the Internet, and that's saying something. Literally hundreds (thousands?) of publishers do arbitrage and do it well. You just have to know how to do it. Quite a few people on these boards do it and are profitable in doing so.

But this is true. You have to make sure that your traffic is legit and AdSense is very unforgiving when it comes to bot traffic. Meaning they'll take your earnings and ban you. Fortunately there are other networks that are more forgiving and there are ways to know that you're getting exposure to bot traffic. Read my very long thread on this point.

The stuff that works well are either in high-paying verticals (Insurance, Autos, Finance) or slideshows. You'll want to buy traffic that looks at a lot of pageviews and pays decently well.

It depends on how much you're willing to spend and how much content you want to write. Whats' your capital situation? If you're spending $100 / day to make $130 profit, is it worth it to you? Display / ad arb can be very capital intensive and risky if you get banned.

There are a lot of alternatives to AdSense. You can find more here or use google. https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/top-100-ad-networks-adsense-alternatives.1045408/

To make real money with ppc you need a lot of traffic, 150-200 unique visitors per day will not earn too much.
Also, take in consideration the country from where the traffic is coming, some countries get a really low ppc.
Arbitrage is not for everyone, i suggest you to start with social networks traffic to get you started and learn more about arbitrage in meantime.

Just so OP knows, you can absolutely do arb with social network traffic as well. It's just not as "sticky" IMO, but it should absolutely be part of running a successful site.

Thank you a lot for your answers. I appreciate your honest and experience. Wish you best and good luck to everyone.
Thanks again.

Traffic arbitrage works really well.
I am trying to understand the meaning of "all the traffic will go through google to my website" - if you advertise your site traffic will land directly through it, if you use google link (to make it look like it landed from google) I never tried, but pretty sure ad network won't approve it. 150-200 uniques are probably very little to make a profit, at least profit that will be paid at the end of the month.

Social traffic can work very well if you got something for that traffic to return to your site, but going for the cheapest clicks can bring a lot of bounce and low revenue.

Try it first, see what's working and scale. Your content is the key to success, not cheap clicks.

thank you , i wanted to ubderstand this aswell, well explained better then 200 page book .

very well written .

I’ve heard of the slideshows method but not the finance/auto/insurance one.

How does that work? I assume the high CPCs make it more viable - but what content, if any, do you send traffic to.

Search ads to some high value content (‘The best 10 dividend stocks’) say? I presume native could work here too(?)
