Addon domain Help

I have brought multiple domain hosting plan from hostagator, but when I install wordpress in my addon domain (NOT SUB-DOMAIN) it is asking where to install wordpress so I given folder name while installing wordpress. This folder name is publicly displaying ? what to do?

for example : my website is www.xyz.com

If i click above link it is not showing anything except folder name where wordpress was installed.

If I type this url then it is working fine opening my home page www.xyz.com/folder/

How to avoid this folder in my main url?

1. first point your domain nameservers to your hosting.
2. then go to your cpanel.
3. Add the new domain under subdomains. just enter the domain name like xyz.com and it will automatically enter some details (like the root folder for your domain and ftp address), leave it as it is, and enter password for your ftp.
4. Now go to fantastico deluxe and click on wordpress (i assume you want to install wordpess), it will ask you on which domain you want to install wordpress, select from drop down menu xyz.com, leave the folder details to empty, and below just enter admin username, admin password, site title, site description etc.
5. When installation complete
6. Go to xyz.com and voila see the magic.
