I cant be the only one who feels the urge to check their aff. earnings every few minutes when ever I know some leads should be coming in ;)

I guess it's normal for everyone, at least for me and you. I remember a member who is making 150+ a day mentioned he kills some of his time between his work refreshing his dashboard every 5 mins to check his earnings.

Meh, I used to do that, now I don't. It's just stupid to do that every few minutes. I feel better if I check every few hours and see a big increase in earnings. Feels better and I'm not wasting my time on just refreshing the page. You can just also leave the tab opened and you will hear it every time. No need to refresh every 6 seconds.

i have a solution for this, just make a new email account end en email:affiliate notafacation of your affiliate leads,
so every lead your make your affiliate network wil sent you a email, tip make the sound of a new email like a cashmachine.
i have this on my mobile phone

Sometimes I still do it but I try to find some work instead of wasting the time. Now I only check it when I wake up and smoke my first cigarette (thats my ritual:D) and before I go to sleep.

Absolutely. It's like crack. I try to force myself to work but have to keep checking my stats (promoting via 6 networks) but then again I'm also running almost 20 ad campaigns so if I don't pay close attention I could waste money quick.

I must admit I am a victim of this most frivolous of activities. It never seems to generate any revenue directly, but I can usually look and see something in stats that can motivate me to work harder. Just be careful if the inverse effect occurs, i.e. if you look at stats and results are lackluster and you find this demotivating - then don't look at the stats.

Plus it frees one up to productive work. Each year I promise myself I will stop wasting time looking at stats since it absolutely has no impact on the bottom line, but the truth is I still likely pushing the damn refresh button on cash.

I don't have time to check my earnings, they are doing fine. And I am busy working on new income sources.

i think it's a good idea to check your stats frequently, not in every minute, but in every few hours, because in this line of business anything can happen

besides the earnings, most of the time there's unique hits, EPC etc. which can reveal a lot of things
just the most trivial example if you do social media, that accounts can get banned, you need to replace them, proxies can go down, you need to ask your proxy guy to check what's up, VPS can go down, bots can go down yadda, yadda, this all can cost you serious money, if you don't notice it in time, just one or two days later, so don't look at stats checking just as a waste of time, it helps you improve whatever you're doing and keeps you sharp, just don't go overboard with it

Yeah like some of you said, it can be time consuming. Better off focusing on making more $$$ and then check for that big lump sum after a while. Unless of course your testing something new and trying to see if its profitable first before just working for nothing if it happens to not be.

what earnings are you checking ? how do you monetize ? Is it possible to monetize a 3.5k account 5% engagement like you do ?

Lol whoa there buddy. Got in depth real quick. But im doing CPA and if your talking shoutouts on a 3.5k account i dont think anyone will want to buy. With cpa you can earn immediately as long as you have a plan

CPA is when you put a link in your bio to promote something and you get money for each clic ? Can you get banned for it ?

Ya I just started making my first $s with my Amazon site and I am super excited..but now I decided I will only check the money weekly and should spend my time building links and setting up PBN. But that feeling when the money goes up is just priceless..LOL

This is exactly what I've been doing for last 2-3 years. I have an email account setup specifically for sales and when I hear the "cha-ching" noise that I've assigned to that email account on my phone... I know I've made money.
