Can anyone lend some insight into just how anonymous you are when utilise mobile proxies (own ones through a company like proxidise) coupled with an anti-detect browser like adspower ? Hiding your identity from social media companies is one thing but what about higher up?

Data laws are becoming increasingly stringent these days with just single complaints leading to fines from regulatory bodies. Is it at all possible for these sorts of organisations that govern GDPR (like the ICO) to determine who you are ? Is it possible for them to see that you're using browsers like adspower as well as proxidise, from which they could request account information from ?

Would love some insight into this, what can be done to protect your identity completely and whether this is at all realistic or just pure paranoia.

They can track you down by triangulating the location of the SIM card the IP belongs to (approximation is ~50 meters) . But, amount of efforts to pursuading you very depend on how many bad things you have done and how bad they were.

In my case its literally just using scraped data for advertising purposes so i would hope they have better things to do.

Im guessing there is no way around this ?

Thanks for the link!

In relation to your suggestion of using a proxy location that is different to your actual location - presumably law enforcement could still see that the carrier is actually based in say the UK even though you're saying France and just request the logs anyway to identify who you are ?

If you're using a proxy from France in UK, they will see France. Don't do anything stupid
