Account Setup: What Actually Works After Meta’s Ban Waves?

I’m pretty new to managing multiple social media accounts, so I’m trying to figure out the most practical way to scale a setup I’m working on.
The goal is fairly simple: use social media to promote my own products and send traffic into my funnels. The problem is that I’m looking at 50+ accounts across different niches, audiences, and sometimes completely different regions.
I’ve spent a lot of time digging through Reddit, XDA, Medium, and various technical forums (including a ton of threads here), but I keep finding conflicting or outdated information. A lot of the discussions are also padded with affiliate content, ads, focused on account farming or obvious AI/bot posts, so it’s hard to tell what actually works in practice.

The approaches I keep seeing are:

1. VM + Proxy
2. Cloud Phone + Proxy
3. Purchased Accounts
4. Anti-Detect Browser + Proxy
5. Physical Phones + App Cloning

What I’m trying to figure out is what a realistic setup looks like once you get into the 50+ account range.

A few things I’m particularly unsure about:

• Roughly how many physical phones would you need for 50 accounts?
• Can proxies be used normally over Wi-Fi, or is mobile data preferable/required?
• Is there any real reason to use a custom Android ROM, or is stock Android sufficient?
• Are anti-detect browsers still useful? I’ve seen very mixed feedback, especially with TikTok, where the actual device seems to play a bigger role.
• What’s the most practical way to keep accounts isolated from one another?

I’d really like to hear from people who have actually managed a setup like this and can share what worked, what didn’t, and what they’d do differently today.
