Accepting Payments but hide my identity

I need a way to accept payments, but my name does not appear anywhere on the transaction.

I am happy to signup in my own name and real details etc, but when the sale is made, I don't want my identity to be revealed to the purchaser.

What is the best system to use to accept all major payments etc

Does paypal show your real name when you have a business account?

No it doesn't show your name but it does show your business name to which your bank account is attached.

You know that you can just make up any business name with paypal right? And if you're adding a bank account, just set it to your real name instead of the business name. Customers doesn't see that information anyway.

I already have a paypal account verified etc, if i convert it to a business account, what extra info do they need.

I don't have a business yet!

In fact I have a premier account is there a way to change the name in that?

Ok I have thoroughly checked out my premier account, I can change the default email address, so at least on the payments page the email is not directly associated to my personal email.

However, when I send a payment request to my test email it states my name has requested a payment of x amount.

So i presume this is the same when you purchase through the gateway the final email the customer receives will include my name.

It looks like I can't upgrade to business as my country is not directly supported e.g it is fine with the visa payments and deposits, but will not accept the bank account in this country.

so is there another alternative.....I really need this ASAP, so thanks for any suggestions

It seems you will have to get the account verified by virtual means (bank and cc for a US account, or by vcc only for a non US account). Then the name on the PP account can be anything you want it to be. If the existing account can't be upgraded, start a new PP account at the premier level from the start, and get it verified virtually upfront if necessary.

paypal is the easiest way to go, virtual i mean as zebrahat explained above

once you register your EIN number.. it removes your ssn/name and replaces it with the business name.
