Acceptable amount of duplicate content?

I just bought a 300 word article from someone and ran it through copyscrape. Everything looked good except for one sentence which appears to be an exact match to a sentence on Wikipedia.

How big a deal is this?

one sentence is not a big deal mate. you can go with it.

If the article has 90% of the uniqueness means you can choose it.

is 90 percent the standard cause copy scrape gave me a 86% uniqueness rating?

Well, if you are not comfortable with the duplicate sentence, you can just do a re-write and boom! you will have 99% uniqueness.

Just think about it logically.... people quote stuff all the time, it is totally natural.

86% is uniqueness is acceptable.

You have to understand there will be some common sentence in each article like
USA won 208 gold medals.
England Beat India in the first t20.

These won't cause any problem.

If you so worried why not delete it than it will have 100% unique. Eitherway you should be fine with that one sentence if it is copied. I've got plenty of sentences that's the same on other websites and still I am doing fine.

If people are using an exact brand & model name then it will show up; Ford Fiesta 1.6 GLSi twin turbo as an example, then 20 people reviewing the same product might use the full name and descriptor.

Referencing is another reason, so if you're looking at academic research, you'll reference and add the source too.

If you're not 100% happy, just manually tweak a few words and you'll get a better % score.

One sentence duplicate content doesn't matter.Approximately 15-25% is acceptable. so you can use it.

It should be fine. It probably would have been easier to have just change it.
