Can anyone explain me about SEO footprints which has got 8M views here in BHW, i just couldn't get an understanding, it looks like a path for software to post on certain website like imacros does automatic thing, please someone expalin it clearly, sorry if you came here to learn new about SEO FOOTPRINTs

It's footprints to find certain websites for whichever needs you have.
A lot of software allows you to post to Web 2.0 or social bookmarking etc,
so, if you would want to scrape wordpress sites, you would use a footprint like "Powered by Wordpresss" etc

SEo footprints are clues to google that link 2 or more sites together, as being owned by the same person.
Example: site 1 and 2 are linked together and they both have the same affiliate link to commision junction, with the same affiliate id
Thats an obvious footprint.
Or 2 sites linking together and they are both on the same IP
The lsit goes on and its what google runs though to find suspicious sites for de-indexing

Footprints are things that link website engines together. For example WordPress has a few footprints. Because of these we can search these footprints in higher and only bring up wordpress sites

Footprints are used to scrape URL's and then add those URL's to Backlink building software like GSA. hope you get it now.
