May expired domain traffic convert at least 0.1% for a cheap product (a few bucks)? What are your opinions?

How much traffic are we talking about?
Also, there are ways to monetize this traffic if it is targeted, though it would be hard to make any real money. how are the visitors getting to the site? Direct traffic?

Actually, I'm planning to buy redirected domain traffic from somewhere. It is category targeted, and about 5000 visitors.

From my (very limited) experiences in redirect traffic, it won't get you far.

If the domains are related. In most likelihood no it won't.

Targeting is the key. Nobody will buy a product if he isn't interested in. Traffic from non relevant sites is converting very badly and you will need hundreds of thousands (or more) visitors to make a sale. But if you have traffic from expired domains, that have relevant traffic to your product, then can it convert quite well.
