Lol. I feel like this is a routine. Somebody starts a journey thread being excited for trying a new method and they feel that need to share with us.

Later, that excitement fades, and the person just abandons the journey in a couple days.

Unfortunately, I'm one of them. I have 2 opened journeys, and none of them I even bothered to bring to page 3?

And what's funny is that I believe every single abandoned journey is like that. Honestly, I haven't even managed to break the crust of the method. By this I mean that I haven't even managed to finish the initial set up.

Shame on me.

So what do you think?

The danger with those success stories is that people get a false hype.

This happened to me also in the beginning. My first ever journey read was from some guy who was dropshipping. He only talked about the success and showed some screenshots.

As a noob I thought, dropshipping, this sounds pretty cool and easy, you don't have to own a physical inventory, just collect the money, then buy the items, ship them and $$$

I had a rude awaking when I started unprepared! Payment gateway issues, limitations with different things because I didn't had a VAT, PP that froze funds for the first 21 days, slow traffic etc.

Luckily for me I wasn't stupid enough to spend hundreds of dollars unprepared in FB ads. I paused everything, did more research, studied more and got back to it and also started other aspects of IM.

The last couple months all I did was study, register on several networks, read fail stories as you learn way more from those and now in the process of perfecting several niche sites, social media accounts, landing pages, logo's, setups etc.

This has cost me a couple hundred dollars, I got no RL social life ATM but it is worth it. Dedication and perseverance is key and now focusing heavily on SEO and I am absolutely positive it will be one of the few that is going to make it!

I didn't start a journey post because I probably forget about it as I am way too busy to study and help out a couple guys here.

Lol, dropshippers are such cock-teases. One of my cousins, who has his own autoshop, came over once and showed me his new site. I told him that I was doing aff marketing and he tried to convince me to focus on dropshipping instead because, "it's more profitable and easier to do." I argued that it wasn't as simple as it appeared and that you would need to have a better understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, etc.

He then took out a pen and drew a chart on paper claiming that you don't need SEO for it to rank, just high quality links from certain business forums like eBay and such. By that point I knew that the conversation was going nowhere. Some people just do not get it. Online work is not some homework that you can copy from a friend and get an easy A from.
