What would you do if you were a workaholic but didn't have energy to realize your plan and passion?

Then you are not workaholic.
When your liver don't work, you can't be alcoholic.
Similarly, If your body can't work you can't be workaholic.

Millions of people live that life and are workaholic not by choice, but by chance. You take the public transport during office hours and see people looking dead inside.
It's not impossible but it's very difficult to get out of that vicious circle. Modern civilization is designed this way, unfortunately.
You need massive balls to quit this slave mindset and and a lot of luck on top of that.

Some people are able to maintain a workaholic routine while drinking a bottle of vodka every evening.

Find someone to work with, and push eachother.
And that's what those workaholics do. They usually have business partners.

Could be this, could also be directing your energy in the wrong direction. I'm a workaholic and in the past I have directed my energy towards working in employed roles for other people. Once I'm started on something, I don't stop till its done. And it's very hard to focus on an important project when I'm working 3 or 4 hours over for someone else in a full time job.

Being disciplined is more important than being hard working!

Massive balls... you'll be living very frugal life to develop something. A lot of risk getting into debt, living on the bare minimum and such.

You'd need to define discipline. For me it translates to working everyday. But the outcome of working everyday is mediocre for me.

This is a golden rule. Haven't been following it past year and my perspective was non-existent.

Past 2 months I have done more than in previous year.

Not monetary wise, but in my project. I could even see bright future of this project and that's because I focused only on this one thing.

If that turns into a daily routine, they will be a dead workaholic in the near future.

I would fix myself and my energy first. Do whatever it takes to fix it, once you have high energy and good hormones you will see how drastically it changes your life. And work smart, luck is also a factor, working full day doesnt guarantee success.

There are some substances, ranging from caffeine to amphetamines (legal on prescription in US).

I saw some people abuse these and they had shit ton of work done.

Like 5 years of learning done in 2 years. Extreme shortcut. And crazily unethical (I mean, the hard stuff like amphetamine).

But won't they just get a stroke in the middle of nowhere riding their new BMW...

All I did care thus far about in my body was serotonin neurotransmitter. Some stuff helps with better sleep and getting not overly sad and angry. These are prescription pills from a doctor.

Unfortunately, I'm still getting tired easily unless I am around a bunch of people in a stimulating environment where the situation is dynamic.

I have to do a lot of my work on computer, in solitude (with BHW in background).

I once smoked cigarettes for fun as a teenager and it would give me some bad feelings afterwards. When I sit too long, I feel like I smoked 20 cigs and there's just nothing I can do about it. I feel wasted after hours of work and even next day.

Diet and exercise don't cut it for me. When I exercise in the gym, I sleep a lot more and beyond that, my back hurts cause I don't care about lifting freaking iron. Same with running and biking. Just more tiredness. Biking is my favorite though.

Diet is helpful, but even when maintaining that, I'm still getting tired horrendously in couple hours of work. It gives some clarity, but that's not the point.

I'm wondering which hormone can be improved and if it's worth it.

I find that if you are having issues here, it is likely not just a workaholic issue, but a mental health issue. The reasons could be varied, but likely you should try therapy. I'd recommend trying this first before doing hormone stuff

More pills? I have a handful of them. I heard some people need 3! different pills every day. I take only half a pill to mitigate impulsive behavior, sleep problems and depressive episodes.

The problem with therapy is that you have to guide the therapist and if you don't have any clue of what's going on, you can't, so they won't help.

Your symptoms screams of ADHD, did you research about this?

I can help you diagnose me. I couldn't focus at school but I wanted so badly. Nothing had worked. I quit school at the age of 16, but came back 2 years later. I thought it was a school fault and education being too hard. It wasn't too hard. I just couldn't process new information.

Situation was similar to now. After 3 hours of sitting, I just can't stand it anymore and focus / thinking are greatly impaired. So next 6 hours I'm doing a mess and my work is basically trying to focus.

Isn't ADHD something like you have to run around to feel better? Is it something like you can't focus after 3 hours? Or these ADHD dudes have sudden energy drops and burts?

This is what they will give if you tell them ADHD or bipolar or something similar. Been there. Done that. It sucked.

You're basically prescribed the same meds as schizophrenic people who suffer way worse than ADHD, bipolar etc.

Shit increases prolactin levels to some extreme levels, so that a male person can breastfeed. It also decreases dopamine levels.

Structure and discipline - in my opinion - are the two most important things that can drive success. I define structure and discipline as:

Structure - the methodology that I am going to follow every day to get the result.

Discipline - the ability to stick to that structure and not get taken off track.

So it doesn't have anything to do with working every day - in fact, if your structure is to assess and then delegate the work. You need to be disciplined to not get involved with the work (very difficult for me, especially when someone takes longer than I would!) Basically it is about being single mindedly focused on the goal, and doing whatever it takes to get there. That's how I define discipline.

I'd say have a good long vacation. No energy sounds like you're just tired and exhausted.
