A new google update today targetting money keywords

Aside from choosing a keyword to include in your domain name and to loosely base your content around, is there any point to doing SEO nowdays? I mean, everything has to appear natural, which is not really SEO at all, just promotion and marketing really.

One site now back page one for all keywords and the other site has been wiped off the face of the earth except for tiny amounts of long tail.

Expecting things to change again rapidly so not celebrating the first site coming back quite yet.

any update yet? also did u do anythign special?
i have 1 site recoverign 'itself' and the other beein fully gone. both were in top5 for superb keyworfs.
