A journal that i dont plan to quit!!

Hows everyone doing?

So I have paused my fb and adwords income stream and working on my SEO, im tracking daily visits comparing to past data now... its not hard at all! Still not pro at figuring out figures etc but so far so good.

Ive ranked into the top 10 for 4 of my main big keywords, 1 is top 3 not bad for 2-3 months of SEO.

So i had a drought on my e-com store for 7 days last week, because i stopped a few avenues of income to work on some stuff (etc tracking AND .... A/B split testing)....but drought is over!!! Seo is starting to pick up.

I actually haven't started the A/B split testing yet but I have read it up, dled courses, watched them and i know what i need to do, the reason why i havent split tested yet is because i havent been driving enough traffic via seo. Im making about 60-100 uniques a day.

My main keyword is at 8 and that gets about 100k+ searches a month on google in exact...soooo wen i hit top 3 for that in a few weeks i will implement what i wanna test out.

So yeah Since ive been doing e-com , i find it a lot different to affiliate, i really need to take care of it. I really need to see what ppl click and where and set goals and funnels in google analytics.

My stats for my store since July according to google analtyics is pretty ok, i never noticed but my bounce rate is pretty good sitting at around 2.24%. haha.

I guess i have no problem with my landing page and i guess it must be semi targeted since my bounce rate is low!

Will update soon!

struggling with google web optimizer

hahaha maybe i am dumb? I am not sure but google website optimizer is difficult for me, maybe if i was doing like a lander or something that is easy but i can't figure out how to test my e-com product pages at once, where to put the codes etc!! I think its a dynamic page so yeah, but i havent given up and i wont since i Testing is soooooooooooo important!!

Your customers will eventually design your website for you, and if you can't let that happen then your sites never gonna get better!!

I know what i want to do already but It's just difficult right now !!

With Seo i get about 100+ uniques a day now and i have been making a sale or 2 a day, not to bad not to bad. It is picking up and when i make more sales i will start my adwords, my fb again. I am actually going to look into email marketing this week and set something up on my site to start collecting emails.

I think spending a good week learning Google analytics was one of the best things i have done because tracking and see what customers click on and how long they stay, setting up goals etc have showed me which pages i need to start split testing.

My rankings are still the same, top 10, when my main keyword jumps from 8 to top 3 i will start SEOing my inner pages.

I have found the website optimizer for me has been a real challenge maybe because i am not good with code haha but yeah, I try to sleep 5-6 hrs a day now because wen i go to sleep i just want to be awake to read and do my work. I have a feeling success for me and my friends are around the corner.

Wow, man, keep it up, reading your journals have been inspiring even when I don't need much inspiration as it is :)

Good on you.

I have hit top 10 for most of my keywords, sales are coming in daily, im not number one for my keywords but i am above 5 for them.

I have just offically hired my first VA. Does most of my SEO so now i have time for my next e-commerce that I am setting up. Total blind droppshipping :D.

First VA was a success. What i learnt is never to tell your VA ur age ... haha especially if you are younger than them.

I have hit number 1 -4 for my miain keywords which brings me a very nice amount of traffic.

I wasn't converting that much maybe .5 to 1.5%??

I believe this was my design, too basic and kinda not grabbing. What i love is that with a business you will always have to keep making it better no matter what. Always need new ideas to grab someone or market to someone.

I have so many things going on at the moment i keep forgetting to update this page... sorry guys !

I just found this thread. I read through every single post. I'm so inspired right now I'm going to start work on a project I earlier had in mind, which I think would do well. Completely whitehat.

I've noticed that the blackhat activities didn't make you much money, and that you started earning good money on a regular basis when you started your PPC campaign for your review site, correct? I was a little unclear at the time. Did you review CB products (which you hate) or those from other CPA networks?

It has been an inspiring read. You truly deserve your fortune, and so much much more. God bless!

Love the journal!
Just a few questions:
a) How many VAs do you use and how do you keep them?
b) Do you automate/filter (via API) out the Analytics or review it via google.com
c) Are you using any APIs for frontend or backend support?

Hope to hear back!
