Wow, this thread is seriously so inspirational. I mean you went at it for months earning next to nothing, then you finally find a good method and youre making bank big time. Good Job man, anyone with that much determination deserves that much success because very few will persevere through all the hardship.

So I just wanted to do a quick update.
I've emailed some sites about buying some ad space for a month, Ive also joined some networks. Im getting banners done atm by my best mate. I havent thrown much up yet but im getting there. I really want to diversify and i cant fukn wait!

Please guys dont ask me to teach you and what i am EXACTLY doing (no one will ever tell you), I place my journal out here for inspiration for ppl to take the plunge and become stronger not to give you a free meal and also its to keep me up focused on what I am doing and to talk to my self incase i go crazy.
Ok so lets see now, I've been playing with some other ppc networks and i am getting sales not as much as adwords. I hit record days this week. Bing and yahoo is meh to me, so many ppl love it but i cant see it, more research? perhaps!
I can safely say that the month of Jan I have hit 5 figures. Ive spent a couple of k of advertising tho but still good right?!
SOOO Im getting into media buys I cant wait anymore, its too exciting fuk me.
Ive got 3 different shaped types of banners with 3 ad copies on each 1 made for me from my best mate (ofcourse I paid him) to test out which 1 converts the best.
Im applying to ad networks at first not direct, I will do direct when i get more expeirenced. Right now i would rather drop a couple k down to have ppl optimize along side with me.
I've sent emails to tribal, value click and a few other net works to ask for a test period because i dont want to invest a couple of K and lose it all! I sent them emails last night but i might contact them today via phone to speed things up.
Yes i am fukn nervous, yes this is intimidating, yes its scary and yes i fukn love the feeling of it! Its crazy how you can start with absolutely nothing and if you put ur mind to it you can go sky high.
I reflect now and i see that most of the things i really wanted ive done something to get it and the point is FUCK ME if you get your mindset straight you will get your life straight. I am not even joking its fukn crazy.
Yeah some ppl might look at me and be like is this it? Is this all im making but i promise give me a little bit of time and ill get to the top. I dont see 20k a day impossible at all, definitely not since so many other ppl can do it.
I love the reaction of my friends and family at the moment because they never thought id get this far, my parents always tell me to study hard get a job and when i got into university i had family members telling me how shocked they were that i actually got in hahaha but i always remember adwords is not going to be there forever so yeah...thats why i need to get into media buys asap thats where 2010 will be for me...

im going to become a sole proprietor in the following week or so, I've got a great name for it but ill tell you guys when i get it down.
I've told a few ppl im getting into media buys and yeah some of em laugh saying its too hard and i should stick to what i have but for some reason this isnt new to me now, its kinda like dejavu if you guys know what i mean and if it is like dejavu im sure i know what the outcome will be like...

So many new ppl are getting aware of it and it can only get bigger, its gonna get more competitive but i love it, its fukn insane guys, the rules are getting stricter whos gonna drop out? not me fuk no im gonna build a long term business.

So, ive been testing banners on networks and its ok, no sales or nothing so arghhh. Im getting confused with media buying and shit and its doing my head in. I dont no how to use openx that well atm but im learning everything.

Media Buying is an exciting field...All you have to do is find a profitable campaign and SCALE!!! Just go insane!!
I noticed that campaigns can be very temperamental throughout the day - check and see which hours most of your sales come from...
For example- I was pushing Teeth Whitening via Media Buys -
Estimates of an actual day I had -
Before 2pm = $500 spend $700 rev
Before 9pm = $1200 spend $900 rev
The tides change quickly...Guess people dont want white teeth anymore when they're getting home from work?
Be okay with letting go sometimes Its hard to press pause on a profitable campaign, but you should really take note as to what hours are your most profitable ones...
