It's really about what your ad says and where you post it. For instance a personal ad or employment ad will get more responses than a free ipod ad.

I bet you guys thought I've died out huh? WRONG! Still got another 8-12 months to go before i drop this journal.

Anyway Still $0 hahaha I know a bit demotivating right? Nah wrong because I've learned so much these past few weeks.

Craigslist

I've got no problems to get my ads to stick just no responses however I havent got a schedule for it yet so Im not expecting much.

I been posting like 2-4 ads a week and at that rate I know I wont get responses. So no worries. I will get that up soon. What Im doing with CL is im using image ads to post with a link to my website.

The best way i do this is:
1. type out an ad on CL, preview and print screen.

2. Paste in photoshope and cut out what I want and paste into a new sheet.

3. save with numbers as title eg 432842384904821433.jpeg

4.upload to photobucket (1 photobucket account has about 10-20 images each with same image just different name) I only have 1 photobucket acc at the moment.

For anyone that doesnt no this is the code you use to get your photobucket photo in ur ad

My white hat review site

Ive been building up my white hat site. I started it last weekend. Its a review site. Vegas Villan (congratulations on your marriage you fukn funny cunt) provided me with the template and it roughly has 20-24% conversion rate depending on content (which I think is pretty good.) So far I have 5 reviews of 5 different products on it. BTW I HAVE NOT SENT TRAFFIC TO IT. Im aiming to get 10-20 reviews on there first b4 I start sending traffic..WHY? Cause I want it that way .

For my review site the main domain leads to pretty much the content page and I use subdomains (using keywords) for each review. Im not planning for many ppl to see my content page.

Its actually taking me awhile to have this up and running because I have exams in 4-5 weeks and I havent been doing much for it so yeah I need to reduce IM time (but not by much i hope)

I try to reduce procrasinating because i realized that whether I procrasinate or not, the job gets done except I waste a lot of time wen i procrasinate (make sense? If not keep in mind ive only slept 2 hrs today but no excuses right?)

What else... oh FML theres so much I havent told you guys and Im really sorry for not updating this earlier!

Article Marketing

Well lets see here with article marketing....I will be outsourcing my articles. I will probably write up 5 for each product I do (so lets say 10 products, that will be 50 articles....wow that is a lot i just realized LOL but i'll be able to do it) If i cant due to school or something else my plan is to outsource articles. I already have a writer but I havent used him yet until my sites is fully done.

I want to write up 5 articles for each product and out source 5 articles for each product so 10 articles all together per product (alot of money huh, well to me!), however this won't be for a few weeks until my website is fully running (actually might be late next week)

Xrumer

SO what else! lets see! oh yeah I BOUGHT XRUMER, halved it with Monkey (some faggy prank caller guy, jks) and have split a dedicated server 3 ways, me, monkey and tonlilaz (shes super cool and super nice). Havent got it up yet tho.

Got Xrumer last week and I've actually just had the time to look at the tutorials this morning (still not finished). I plan to get good at Xrumer because serious that software cost me like 260 bucks and thats not chump change for me LOL .

Im having fun with it for the past few hrs actually. NOW I KNOW WHAT THE HREFER DOES LOL!!!

Sources of Traffic

I'll be having different sources of traffic when I have everything up and running

1. Craigslist ( I plan to get CLad when i make some more money and I want to post 10-25 ads a day)

2. Article marketing ( i will have 100 articles when its done, most likely xrumer the articles around)

3. Xrumer (still need to learn alot so my white hate site doesnt get sandboxed....actually its not white hat anymore once i xrumer it huh?)

BTW, ALOT of people say not to send xrumer links to your white hat site and blah blah blah. However you can just you gotta be careful with how you do it. I plan to use xrumer mainly for SEO optimization so i gotta do alot of reading.


4. FORGOT to mention Youtube, tehonic ( a pro programmer designer) is creating a youtube spammer which looks crazy. I gotta buy that off him when its finished because it comments hundreds of videos in several minutes.

I will eventually get down to making Linkwheels for it when I have the time, atm I am not that fussed.


Now I think I've made heaps of progress, not money wise but knowledge wise. I definitely need to improve on my ads for CL tho, I think its good but I good can always be better right?

Ive made heaps of friends there that have helped me to the point I am at now. 3 weeks ago I have no idea about proxies pvas, double meta refresh, CRAIGSLIST or even what Xrumer does LOL.

To be honest, i was a bit demotivated last night cause i wasnt making bank, but Madinaz said that I'm getting paid to learn, (not yet but I will be right?) so thats stuck with me and has made me stop procrasinating. Not only that madz has helped me the most in Craigslist, very patient and always happy to answer my questions (I think).

Hi everyone I just got an email asking how to use proxies and pva's so I just thought i would post it here.

If your outside the US (like me) you wont have the luxury of getting dsl lines or that kind of shit so yeah our only way to post on cl is proxies or so i hear.

I buy my exclusive proxies on packetflip, I dont use iprental cause apparently that has been abused like no tomorrow and most if not all are softblock (ofcourse packetflip proxies are too). Anyway Most of the packetflip proxies need pva's (but ive found a few that dont need them...yet )

Anyway to switch your proxies around I use firefox addon called foxy proxy, it works like a charm. Theres a tutorial video on the site once you download it so there no need for me to go in detail about it.

If you find that your proxy does not need to use pvas then you can post 3-10 times on that a day (i stay at 6).

When you change proxies MAKE SURE YOU CLEAR YOUR COOKIES AND CACHE. I do it with the tools in firefox and I also use crapcleaner (free download).

If you use pvas you post once every 48 hrs or so.


SO there you have it

I've found the next 5 products to promote, I will be adding them to my review site over this weekend and probably outsource the articles this week.

2 of the products I will be testing ads on craigslist, which i think will convert pretty well.


So traffic will be coming in a bit earlier than expected hopefully I will be able to study for my exams after this .

My exams are in a few weeks so this most likely be my last update till then( 5 weeks later)

So since my last update

I have built 4 new pages on my white hat site, I still havent sent traffic to it.... dont ask!!!! too many assignments you know!!!

HOWEVER THIS WEEKEND WAS A FREE WEEKEND FOR ME...I DIDNT WANT TO OUTSOURCE MY ARTICLES SOOOO


I wrote out 35 articles in 6 hrs LOL. Yup and I think they are good quality too. Thats 35 articles for 1 niche. Im going to write for my other niches maybe this weekend.

No they were not short articles, they are over 350 words and every 10th article I made them 700 words.

Now its the least fun part for me... submitting! I dont want to submit to like 500 article sites, i dont think thats good. I want to submit to only top 5 or top 10. Ive asked tehonic to write me a program to automate this for me so yeah hopefully ill get it.

But until my exams are finish this might be it for now!

Im still a bit unsure about Xrumer and using it..... i really want to get link wheels done but damnit my senuke 30 day trial ran out! I wouldnt mind splitting half with someone and putting it on a server i have with 2 other members so yeah.

So I checked my stats today and I've made $150 in the past week! feels good! But still not where i want to be so i gotta keep pushing right? ofcourse!

Today is pretty much official of when i started IM again (i been bludging partying you know since i did a summer semester of uni last yr ive been at skool for 2 yrs straight only 3 week breaks between semesters! excuses excuses yeah yeah)

Anyway Today I've fixed up my websites, Im not using subdomains anymore because my seo guru friend told me that subdomains are hard to rank in google so im just using normal html pages. I've redirected my articles now to the html pages but need a few days to get reviewed blah blah and yeah.

Not sure what I will do for the rest of the day prob catch up and reread my ppc notes and xrumer notes ( i feel like xrumer has been such a waste sitting there)

im preparing my landing page for PPC going to give that a go this weekend. got an awesome teacher so should be good .

Ive refixed my landing and i think it looks so much better than it did b4 hand so i will have to fix up all my other landers to look like it, im looking for interspire at the moment so i can install and capture leads should be good but i dont no which version to use

Well i have spent a long time working on my lander to make it look good and I DID GET interspire installed but that was a massive headache!!!

Anyway I had my campaign up and running for a few days and yesterday i made 3 conversions. 3 conversions with 48 clicks at the time with google adwords which im pretty happy!

I never really wanted to do PPC back then cause i tohught it was super risky but im starting to love it espcially cause i have an awesome teacher who if i was him would of blocked me by now cause i ask to many questions LOL

I've got another campaign i will run in a few weeks after i tweak my current campaign to make it the most profitable as i can. SO with that other campaign i will do some seo with it. write a few articles, senuke it etc.

ive had 3 conversions today . so pretty good, ive had sales for the past 4 days except yesterday im going to give it a week and see if i convert daily the way im going i think i will.

But i made a mistake b4 one of the links i have been using for a product were not linked up properly so i defintely lost sales on that!! but ive fixed it and lesson learnt always double check stuff.

MY GOAL IS 10K BY END OF DEC- Lets hope my trip to vegas wont hurt this goal LOL.

I am averaging 2 to 3 conversions a day, too bad my payout is roughly 30 bucks but im sure i will get something higher soon. So im roughly making 90 bucks a day and im dying to break that 100 dollar a day barrier. My ultimate goal is STILL to be sitting on 500 a day by July on auto pilot and damn me i can see it so well actually i can feel it and its damn exciting.

Its true when online IMs say just test out shit till u find something that works...and i swear to god i never thought of PPC! I tried article marketing to the core, and SEO (still love them) but fuk it was boring for me and i even failed a subject at uni cause of it but on the bright side i learnt alot of shit and im so good at writing up articles now and persuading ppl in offline word etc!
