From watching gas fees wreck my wallet in 2021 to staking like a pro today it’s been a wild ride ETH taught me patience, panic, profits, and pain, sometimes all in the same hour.

can it hit $4K again? maybe. will I fomo in anyway? absolutely

Swapped some fiat for ETH like 5 years ago just to cover gas fees, but ended up ditching the chain because of how insane those fees got.
Fast forward to yesterday — restored my old Metamask wallet and checked the balance... let’s just say, it was a nice surprise in USD
 
I still remember buying my first ETH at $90 and thinking I was late.

Ironically enough the lack of hype around ETH this cycle has made the chain usable for regular transactions and swaps, last cycle during peak bull market the whole chain was pretty much unusable because a simple wallet to wallet transfer could easily cost you like $50 in gas fees, ridiculous.

I am more inclined towards bitcoin. Till bitcoin is there, the growth of ETH is very limited.

How much are you holding ? Fees was really a big concern at one time. Have they sorted out this fees issue now ? Even in Bitcoin , I do not see much congestion except on days when trade volumes are large .
