Hello everybody, what a wonderful community i'm so happy to be part of.

In the next of couple days im finally launching my first amazon niche website and i'm super exicted about it.

I do have some question and i'll be more than happy if any of you could help me figure.

Do you think it matters what hosting service im using at the beginning ? (I heard as long as i don't have much traffic it doesn't matter).

Any tips for a beginner like me who's just started ?

I'm super passionate, willing to work as hard as i can and can invest up to 200$ each month.

Thanks ya'll for all the case studies you share, the advices and anything else.

Also, i'm not that familiar with how an amazon niche site suppose to look like (structure, the articles themselves, etc).
Any tip or help would be appriciated.

First tip is to search for the amazon journeys here at BHW. There are plenty and some of them are really helpful and successful.

The speed of a website affects the technical SEO of the website and the speed of the website depends on many aspects and a good host is one of them.

So yes, your host matters from the start of your website.

And also the server location of your host can help you rank your website better in a specific country. Server location has a very small impact on the rankings but yeah, it matters as well.

Don't worry much about getting everything perfect day one, spend some time getting the site to a finished state, before you attempt SEO, and if this is your first site, save your money, and write some of your own content, so you get a feel for the quality that VA's have to produce, when you do outsource.

You can go to journey section, you will find lot of things that will help you..
And $200 is pretty good for start... I started with $100 and after 8 months I've made 140$ till August and this month i got a boost and earned 40$ in just last 5 days.. hoping to cross $200 this month.
You have decent budget...just keep working and be patient.

Totally what i was thinking, wasn't sure though.
Thanks for your answer.

Also, if anyone has a suggestion for a good hosting service it would be amazing.

Most used themes on amazon affiliate sites are:
1. Generatepress(lightest)
2. WP Astra(light & customisable)
3. WP Ocean

Security plugin: Wordfence
SEO plugin: RankMath
Page Builder: Elementor
Caching plugin: WP Rocket or Litespeed Cache
For table of contents at the top of every article: Table of contents plus(you can skip this if you want to)

Edit: you can use something like AAWP for comparison tables if you have amazon API key activated on your account.

I'm not particularly good with ecommerce sites, but I did make some amazon commissions in the past with autoblogs. However, one thing I've noticed - and which I don't know if it's true or not anymore, but if it's still true you should beware of it - is that amazon wants you to display the prices for their products on your website, and to keep them CURRENT.

Which means, if your site is on Wordpress you might want to search for plugins that check amazon's database for your products daily and automatically updates the price. It's several years since I've had an amazon affiliate site, and this may have changed in the meantime but if it hasn't then it's a big issue, and you should beware of it!

Other than this... yeah, site speed is very important for google rankings (or will become very important in 2021 anyway), also you will want a decent hosting provider (one that doesn't restrict your site's bandwith as soon as you start getting a few hundreds visitors a day)

On the plus side, amazon converts very well. I've never been a good marketer / SEOer but even so I still got 1 or 2 cheques from amazon several years ago when I had my websites in google. So, you'll have an easy life in this regard. You just need to bring targeted (preferably google) traffic to your site and you'll be good :)

Good luck

Don't create content purely for Amazon, no one knows when they might pull the plug on the program.
Build the site for information as well as buyer intent.

For hosting, I recommend Hawkhost which is 50% off currently

Here's a guide from @Nerva I suggest you read.

Thanks bro will definitely check that out.
I agree. It's brilliantly put together.
I've had good results with W3 and Autoptimize on my sites for the speed. Although the Siteground servers are also pretty fast.
Thanks.

Noted :)

Also, am i going to use amazon links from the very first post or how it goes?
Are my first articles i publish gonna be informationals or money articles ?
Wasn't sure about these would like to get some help :)

First focus on money articles, then go after informational ones.
If so , i am suppose to register to the program since day 1 ? Or is there a way to generate links without being an associate yet ?
Cause iv'e heard if you don't sell 3 items in 180 days they ban you from their partnership program.

I suggest you apply for Amazon program after you start getting atleast 5 unique visitors daily. Because sometimes people can get 3 sale and then you will have to reapply for the account and replace all the links.
Anyway, no one is going to visit your new site before 4-6 months unless you are very lucky or using an expired domain.

Gotcha, thanks for helping out here.
But, until i get these 5 UV's a day am i placing any links at my money posts ?

Yea, figured it but is this what anyone else does with fresh sites like mine ? Is this normal ?
I've see a fully working site, getting more than 4k visitors per month with no affiliate code.
So it will not be as bad as that. :p
