Just checked my Clickbank account and it says

Order Form Submit Count 9
Initial Sales Count 1

Does that mean 8 people got their cards declined? WTF?
How's that possible?

It happens all the time. You are just going to have to get used to it. Some people will will get to the order submit page and just leave...or they might suddenly change their mind or the payment does not get through.

Is your traffic coming from foreign countries? I've noticed that cards from non-American countries tend to get rejected a lot.

It's pretty normal even for USA traffic though.

it's a normal ratio for me unless you have 300 form submits and 4 sales, then you need to scratch your head.

Some cards, especially foreign ones, don't always work on American sites. I've been rejected, and had to use Paypal instead, several times. Don't know why.

... or maybe a lot of people don't know how to fill in their card information properly?

AG, people leaving the order form submit page does not affect the 'order form submit' count, this only shows up as an 'order form impression'.. just fyi.

But yeah, a lot of people get their credit cards rejected as the others have stated, so don't sweat it.

Sorry I worded that wrong. ^ He's correct.

If the same Person try's his credit card and it fails and then he does it over and over and over you will have this issue. They count each transaction regardless of the Credit Card.

Good Luck!

Yah, but I HATE the 30-40% decline that Clickbank currently has going on. I almost wish they didn't have the Submit Button click-statistic anyway.
