9-5 Job > IM

Anything is better than being a wage slave. I'd prefer to be poor for 10 years working on building my own sources of revenue 7 days a week than work in a job I hate for average money because it's easy.
I have the same feeling. Can't stand those 8 hours in a cage.
You can't even masturbate there.

Having a normal 9 to 5 job and career gives you more money than internet marketing. We would be all better off in a traditional corporate career but if only we were positive about working a real job. Instead most of us dream about bullshit internet monies. Let’s face it in order to make it in seo it would take you like 5-10 years just to make like $2,000 per month and it can be suddenly gone with any random google update. We have no moat against because g corporations that can hire talented writers and buy powerful backlinks. Seo is saturated and paid traffic even more. The time and money invested in seo or paid traffic would be better spent on a college education and a good masters degree. The corporate world gives you better salary, incentives, health insurance and job security. If you earn $60,000 per year and work a couple of years, you are guaranteed a higher salary afterwards. In affiliate marketing you work your ass off for little money and then it gets taken away with a google update. So you start from zero again. Paid traffic with Facebook, Google, Pop Traffic or others is saturated as fuck. Most successful internet marketers have given up on paid traffic so we noobies have no chance. Even an offline business like consulting gives more money and peace of mind.

I've never had a 9-5 job in my life and it seems I won't ever.
It's a matter of taste. I don't like to be bossed around and surely make more $ than any one could pay me.

Do you have a diamond watch?

Software dev is not low pay compared to what CEOs make mate. Look up the average profit a company pulls per year, that's typically what the CEO takes home, I'm sure it's less than a software dev.
That's not true, CEOs tend to make money due to their shares they hold, but otherwise CEOs don't get all profits of a business. If that was true, then that means no business ever reinvests their profit into their business??

Take 80% of the income. Find cheap devs and lose 20%. What could go wrong?

Man, you think of CEOs like Elon Musk and Bezos, most companies fail, and that makes the average wage as a CEO go down down.
