Honestly, I don't even know what to begin to write here, but the welcome message I recieved recommended that I introduce myself to the forum, so here I am!

My name is Mikey, as the name quite possibly suggests. I started my journey into internet marketing a long time ago (7 years ago, to be precise), through taking action on posts that are on this forum. Most of the time, I'm making my money working remotely as an SEO for a Digital Marketing firm based in London but in my free time I usually spend 3-4 hours browsing this forum, I have tried numerous different methods in the 'making money' forums and while I've had success with a few of the methods (very little, albeit) I've also hosted a plethora of failed projects too.

I guess, my overall plan for finally signing up is that I want to build myself a reputation and give back to the community in any way I can!

I had a good time here even when I was simply a lurker!

I was unemployed, I was living at home and I was depressed at the ripe age of 19, I didn't know what I was going to do. I discovered UpWork (formerly known as Odesk at the time) and I thought this was it, I thought it was my way of becoming self-sufficient and sustainable income but how naive I actually was, 8 month down the line of constant rejections and a few £100 jobs I was about to give up all hope - until my current employer found me and wanted a simple Wordpress website developing, I completed that job and made myself £500 and got offered a repeat job. 8 years down the line and I am still with them.

I guess all you need to do is keep putting in the hard work, eventually an opportunity will slap you in the face, and that's when you need to grab it and not let go.
 
Well you should start writing some journey thread, that's the best way to let yourself known.

I plan on it once I've familiarized myself with the forum and decided on my next venute - my problem at the moment is that I'm kinda' stuck in limbo, I'm uninspired and have no idea what I actually want to do.

I can relate. I joined here in 2014 and never came back until a month ago. That was a mistake. There's a lot of good stuff here and it sounds like you've got some knowledge to share too. Good to have you here.
