$50k/Month With Apps (Failure Is Not an Option)

Just reached this thread intentionally while searching Apps monetiszation!
I am thinking of Apps business, but short of funds and coding skills too.

Read whole thread, very interesting and motivational but disappointed me at the end.

In general current promotional stage is very crucial to stay on high, may be you are busy doing so.
Else be very serious on that to achieve your goal. All the very best of luck in your journey.
Hope to see again the same motivation with your results :)

Well speaking as developer and in my spare time as a mobile games developer (currently both in Android and Apple stores) sry to tell you but it doesnt seem to work out for you.
Plus note this (from my personal expirience) nice ranked apps (not candy crush of course, but not an app burried into deep) can make you about 30$ per day (with admob) for about 6 months.
That means you need 55 apps developed per 6 months :)
I am always talking about legit apps or legit games ok?
You could publish something illegal and get as much as 400$ per for each app ;)

In your hunt for a programmer did sharing profit vs payment upfront ever come up?

I would be careful adding more money into this project without being able to see some return. Whilst you are in the beginnging stages I would invest more time into it rather than spend money just in case you can't manage to get the 1000's of downloads per day you are hoping for. Also as you dedicate more time to it yourself you will learn more about the industry, for example be better at coding and adding/outsourcing graphics etc.

Any updates on this? What you're aiming for is very possible. Sticking to original games as mentioned before is a great way to strike the goldmines. Let us know your progress!

This is just a suggestion. But maybe you could contact various Gaming YouTubers, and ask them if they could play your game and show a review to all their subscribers? I'm not talking PewDiePie or anyone crazy big (although there is a chance they maybe would). But I'm talking more of the YouTubers who post daily videos and have roughly 5k+ subs. If they message you back denying your request maybe you could pay them $5 or $10 or something? But since they are lesser known they would probably be open to trying it? It's a new up and coming game, plus it gives them more/new content for their channel. Include that in the message that it would be a win/win situation! I don't know just a thought :)

Best of luck!!

This is actually part of my plan, BUT I tried contacting like 30 people and none of them responded which is pretty disappointing. Is not because they thought the game wasn't good enough cause I didn't even tell them which game it was, but it looks like it's really hard to contact these people. At first, I was targeting channels between 20k - 500k subs, and then I even tried with the big boys. 500k and up to PewDiePie. But I just never get an answer back.

Perhaps my emails are not hitting their inbox or maybe I just don't know how to approach them.. The funny thing is they actually have their email where you can contact them for "business inquiries" but they just won't reply back.

I wasn't offering $5 or $10. I offered $3000 to PewDiePie for a 1 min video just so he can make fun of my game which I wouldn't care since I would still get the downloads, but he never reply back. Obviously, money is not a problem for this guy. lol He makes like a few million per year plus he wouldn't want to put his channel in jeopardy.

If I can find someone who can help me contacting these people that would be great. I can offer up to $500 for this. Depending which channel you can get in contact with. Anyone!?

Now, this doesn't mean I'm not going to achieve my goal. Like I said in the last post. I've hired a person who's going to help me, but I have to admit things are really cold right now. :hmmmm2:

Good luck with your journey. This is something that I have been thinking about doing for far too long. The worst part is that I am a developer, but I have so many other projects that I need to find more time to dedicate to them.

What if you hire a person on Fiverr who will do a review of your game, upload it on youtube and then boost it with views? Just an idea.

@OP it looks like you'd be better off promoting your app on places like Twitter and Instagram.

Interesting post.. Why would you follow me though? It feels like you actually want me to fail. :) Ssh.. Don't disturb me in my sleep!
Good luck with this mate. I think what you are going for here is a great dream. Will be following closely!

If someone is willing to help me. Telling me ideas on how to promote the app - feel free to msg me. Even though I don't think I'll need help. I'm open for suggestions.

Thanks!

I have some working ideas for you (tried it myself and making nice income every single day). Let me know (PM me) if you are interested.

My Plan: Hire a developer to create the games for me, and then promote them with paid/free traffic methods (I don't want to go into details regarding this for obvious reasons).

For obvious reasons like not wanting to give back to the community, right?

If you want to contact YouTubers to do this, you could do this:
1. go to channelpages
2. Log in with your Google / YouTube account
3. Go to offers
4. Create an offer and include all your information
5. Say that you are willing to pay a few bucks, once they read this you'll get around maybe 100 interested gaming channels.
