3D Printer long-term strategy?

Hi,
ive always been into 3DPrinters so i came across the listing that is ending soon so I need few quick tips, please!

Apparently they got bigger project as they want funds for it and now they lowered the price yesterday. (I cant post link here as Im not a member of BHW a little longer.)

Does this reviews domain have potential? Can i compete in SEO even with 4-digit numbers in domain? Should I focus more on whitehat rather than blackhat strategy here?? I seriously don't want someone to tell G to blacklist me after the effort has been put into long-term project. Does anyone have experience with making a reviews website? How many sources of income can you make with reviews? I will probably buy this domain as my relative works in the same niche and with that said I could get higher margins for some printers.

Any tip would be highly appreciated!!

$1500 for that domain is ridiculous... It's only going to last a year before it's "out of date" so to speak. "3D Printers 2014" only gets 10 local monthly searches...

Why is your username the same as the sellers on the listing? Or is this just another way to promote your listing...

LOL I actually design and do photography as well as the video, the reason I didnt add GFX was because paperstack username was still free. But now I have a chance to welcome anyone that needs logo or produced video, follow4follow on twitter @paperstackgfx

Yes but even in 2015 I could redirect the domain 2014 to 2015, which would give me double traffic correct? Im still not sure you read all, it includes domains till 2020 ??

Not worth it, even if they offer all domains up until 2099 I still wouldn't bother.

It's not worth the hassle of re-directing every year - and if you're looking long term like you said the domains are even worse.

If long term is the aim, get a catchy and brand able domain. SEO is about a lot more than what domain you have, look at Amazon what keywords do they have in theirs?

Keyword domains are overrated if you're playing the long game.
