Good method, an alternative to this if you don't have the budget to get going is to buy a large fanpage (You can get roughly 70k fan pages per $100)(preferably US based) and feed this group off into different niche pages. Best long term monetization method for this is to do the following:
1) Buy a large fanpage (preferably 250k+)
-Should be around $300
2) Create 5 niche fan pages
3) Promote 2-3 of these pages per week on your main page along with funny, related content, discussion topics etc to the main page to increase page activity. Don't promote offers to your main page yet.
4) Wait a few weeks, from a 250k page you should see around 3-4k fans per week into each of your niche pages. Let all of your niche pages build up to 12-15k.
5) Filter your users from your niche pages into an opt in list. Give them a free product related to the niche via squeeze page.
6) Start Adswaps with other lists in the same niche once you hit 1k subscribers.
6) Promote Clickbank/Amazon/Ebay products to your lists.
7) Once you've filtered as many fans as your likely to get from your main page, start pumping it with cpa offers ( Obviously not spam offer after offer), should generate a couple of thou.
8) Reinvest that money into more large fan pages (Preferably related to your niches), Build your lists bigger and bigger. Your on track to a solid income.
