Another question, what's your thread doing in IM journey FORUM? This doesn't look like a journey?

I'm gonna answer myself because when I posted this - you posted an answer on my other post...
So the answer is because you created a post where you said your gonna do 3 posts and that first post was posted in the IM Journey Forum.

Would you consider citation flow and trust flow the new PR? By this I mean the means you would base keyword competiveness on. Along with that what would you reccommend doing to increase citation flow and trust flow on your own site?

Thanks Man! It's great having people like you that are willing to help the community.

I had to get permission to post this thread from the admin and I was told to post it here.

I would consider anything right now to be more of value than PR.

In my opinion, PR is dying and its becoming more useless now. Don't judge a site just based on PR Id say.

Just build quality links that have authority. Your metrics should grow naturally from these. I'm not aware of any shortcuts though as of now to increase them fast.

Black hat, high PR links may also do the job. The key is to go after the authority links to improve YOUR own authority / trust.

EDIT: I am off for the night. Any remaining questions will be answered tomorrow morning if I manage to get some free time! Fifa 14 releases tomorrow so the temptation is going to be hard!

I will keep this thread running until Monday before I stop taking more questions.

what do you think about Press release ? i mean do people read them in reality ? i'm in third world country so i dont know if people read them or not ?
sorry for that long post leith :D

I'm new at this whole SEO thing, so my question to you is: Do you recommend buying link building campaigns, from the bhw marketplace for a few days old site? I'm planning on using some service for a couple of sites, and I am afraid that google might get suspicious or give me a penalty or something. Thanks!

hi op, I have a brand new ecommerce site, what kind of backlinks and how should I dripfeed in firs 3 months?

Do you have a private circle of people that help you and you help them or are you a lone wolf?

As a newbie in SEO, what do you suggest for monetization techniques?
Adsense, CPA or clickbank? Or something else I am missing.

EDIT: Had a question before but thought of a better one, and I know your 1 question rule. :P

How do you effectively manage clients whilst having a job at the same time? Do you have any tips that you can share?

I currently have a job and also manage clients at the same time but they prefer to have a meeting, whether it is through direct contact or over skype etc throughout the day, being normal business hours, 9-5. If I was in their shoes I would be exactly the same but just wondering if you have any good ways of managing this potential problem.

Thanks!

Hi, I would like to ask you about how to remain motivated for work. I mean the problem with me is that when things keep happening good with me (I keep getting orders) it is fine. However, when some problems arise or I could not see results for my work, I get disappointed and start thinking about quitting IM. If you had similar thoughts in the past, how you handled it ?

Leith has answered one about motivation, so to answer the first part of your question here is a good lengthy answer:

Good question because there's times where I just want to jump out of my window.

  • Find the gains you will be getting. Find the good reasons. Personal gain (money), a sense of achievement (success), or just the fact that you're nearing your main goal (money goal).. whatever it is, I tend to focus on the gain at the end. If I was doing a 3 month contracted SEO job, although Id feel like quitting half way, I tend to think of the remaining payment Il be given at the end of the job. Money can be a great motivation for many but not for all - other things that motivate me has to be my friends and family, and of course, luxuries which I would not be able to buy if I did not complete my goals and aims.

  • Another way to stay motivated is to keep rewarding yourself. I usually buy myself, what I call a quarterly treat every 4 months. This may be a new laptop, a quick holiday for a week or whatever. I like to keep myself satisfied and rewarded and this keeps me motivated. My recent purchase was a new car and this has made me more motivated than ever.

  • Find out what you're doing right. Most of the times we frown upon our mistakes and complain about it. How many times have you stopped and actually said "I've done well". This is what we should be doing more. Every time I do something amazing, I sit and applaud myself in my head. I've done something good and it's going to pay off real soon. THAT motivates me.

  • Talk to successful people. I've spoke to dozens of people of which some are millionaires, some have 10 cars, some have a great family, great houses, great knowledge and all sorts. Get yourself relationships with other successful people. Ask them questions, learn from them and ultimately, be motivated from them. Take it as an inspiration. When I first joined here, I would never have thought to be making even 3 figures a month. I've gone way ahead of that now and that is all because of the inspiration I had for other bigger senior members here.

  • Work out. I usually go the gym a few times a week (more often now than ever) and believe it or not it keeps me motivated. Knowing that I'm staying fit, and looking decent motivates me to continue getting the paper rolling into the bank. For others, your girlfriend could be your motivation. For others, your girlfriend could be the reason why you're failing at IM.

Most importantly, just think of the final result and what gain you will get. Aim big and visualise the final personal gains you will be getting and all the success that comes with it.

Good day, mate! Been reading this it's done me wonders. But the current hindrance for me now is finding good niches. You mentioned in your thread that you had some tools in mind and a bit of process on choosing niches.

Could you perhaps share the links/tools to me as well? (Keyword tools and whatnot) It would be of much help. I only target 1k+ keywords (micro niche)for now as they are not that hard to rank with my current skills. Thanks! :)

Thanks for great thread!! Whats your view on Sape future? do you think we must count more on private blog networks than sape now?

Question: How, where, what is the best material to start learning SEO from zero to hero? A-Z. Thanks Leith!

Thanks for answering us!
My question is - how would you invest $300?
I have a multi niche site which doesn't rank for any of its niches and I am using the cracked senuke xcr.
I am getting a $300 payment this end of the month and I would like to know how would u invest it if u were me :)

Thanks in advance,
Chen

Btw my multi niche site targets kws with 3k-22k searches a month on google that are low comp IMO.

Can you please pm me some examples of contracts and how do you do virtual contracts? I am stuck on how to create contracts, what to include in them etc...

Great thread Leith, I have a question for you; I am currently away with work for the upcoming months, i have been doing PPD up until now and made some cash, however the country I am in now has terrible internet speeds. So uploading, or even watching, YouTube is difficult to impossible for me. What other methods can you recommend for me to try while I'm having limited internet access and utilising just my laptop?

Thanks!

sorry for that long post leith :D

I myself don't really read press releases but that's because I create them myself for my own campaigns. However, in my opinion, no, I don't think they do.

I'm new at this whole SEO thing, so my question to you is: Do you recommend buying link building campaigns, from the bhw marketplace for a few days old site? I'm planning on using some service for a couple of sites, and I am afraid that google might get suspicious or give me a penalty or something. Thanks!

If it is a new site, start building the foundation for it. By this I mean start targeting long tail keywords, LSI keywords, related keywords, generic keywords, naked URLs, etc. Create a solid base before you start building your main links.

Give it about 2 weeks after your foundation is strong before you buy services such as on the market place. This means when you use those particular services, there shouldn't really be any red flags because you're already (hopefully) ranking for tons of long tails, etc and your anchor profiles are actually very natural looking.

If possible, try and request for your links to also be dripped so that you do not raise or cause any red flags within Google.

hi op, I have a brand new ecommerce site, what kind of backlinks and how should I dripfeed in firs 3 months?

If it's brand new, again, check my above post. Start building a solid foundation over the first or second month before starting the more aggressive link building.

Do you have a private circle of people that help you and you help them or are you a lone wolf?

I have dozens of people I can go to when I need help, and vice versa. Without these people, I wouldn't be here where I am (eg: the BHW community). So yes, I do go to people for help and people sometimes come to me for help and I try my best to give them what they want!

As a newbie in SEO, what do you suggest for monetization techniques?
Adsense, CPA or clickbank? Or something else I am missing.

If you are a real rookie then Id say start with something like CPA or Adsense. I started with these and as I got better with it, I moved onto large scale promotions with Clickbank, etc.

I'm currently a student but I plan to go full time IM next year, around March.

If you're working 9-5, then that is definitely going to be complicated. If I was in your shoes, working 9 till 5 and had a few clients to speak to, Il tell them that I can't do those times. Unfortunately, there is nothing else you can do. Right now, I go college and my timetable is pretty flexible hence why I have spare time but if you're working from 9 till 5 with no decent breaks then it's obviously going to be hard.

How about the weekends? It's not convenient for everyone but that sounds like something I'd probably look into too.

Don't you get any time during lunch? Maybe that could be a possible option? Are you allowed to use programs like Skype during work or is more strict?

Hi, I would like to ask you about how to remain motivated for work. I mean the problem with me is that when things keep happening good with me (I keep getting orders) it is fine. However, when some problems arise or I could not see results for my work, I get disappointed and start thinking about quitting IM. If you had similar thoughts in the past, how you handled it ?

I made a pretty long reply to a similar question I believe on page 1 or 2. I sometimes don't get any sales or orders for a week or two but during those times, I go back and further improve the CURRENT orders I'm working on and I sort of plan out promotion ideas for the following week. I know it's upsetting to not get any more money coming in for a particular week or 2 but try to do something constructive in that period of time. Consider it a little break and go enjoy yourself a bit as well. We all deserve a break sometimes.

Whatever you do, don't quit just because things aren't working out. I hate people who just quit because they can't accept that they're failing or doing something wrong. I call them pussies. If something isn't working to the best of your wanting, then go and do something about it. You're not getting sales? Why are you not getting sales? What can you do to start getting more sales? Think up of strategies and techniques. There's always a way to make something work, even if it requires thinking about it for a few days long and hard.

Thanks for great thread!! Whats your view on Sape future? do you think we must count more on private blog networks than sape now?

In a quick summary, SAPE is a pretty big network and if used well, it can work well. Just like anything else, if you don't use it correctly, it won't work as well. Obviously a private network YOU own with proper security would be a better option than something like SAPE. However, there are running costs for something like those and other factors which come into play too.

In a short lined summary, I think SAPE will be around for a long time to come and Google will continue hitting chunks of it regularly.

Question: How, where, what is the best material to start learning SEO from zero to hero? A-Z. Thanks Leith!

This forum itself is a great resource. There are a few books I read (partially) before I grasped the basics of SEO. Send me a PM and Il send a few links when I can.

Thanks for answering us!

If I was in your position, I'd use it to rank a site for good keywords obviously. If you've already got the tools for it, then why not buy the right quality lists. And again, if I was in your position, Il do some reading around and buy a well known service.

If I had money left over, Il keep it saved. You do not need to spend all of it immediately. You're better of keeping your money incase of emergencies than putting it all into use and then being left with nothing just incase of a sudden event.

Can you please pm me some examples of contracts and how do you do virtual contracts? I am stuck on how to create contracts, what to include in them etc...

I don't feel comfortable sending my contracts out as they're personal but a quick check online should help you out.

There are plenty of software / sites that can do interactive, virtual contracts. Check one out here.

I used the above one for a few months and it worked great, so I definitely recommend it.
